Tottenham council
You mean Haringey, don’t you?
Reminds me many years ago when we went to Stoke and a group of our supporters started singing “You’re just a small town in Port Vale…”
Looks that way[link2:22eg6t7y]linky,http://www.espn.co.uk/football/sport/story/72751.html?CMP=OTC-RSS%5B/link2:22eg6t7y%5D
Cant see the rugby lot being happy with that. I presume they paid something (?) toward the construction of the JJB/DW and now Whelan hands over the whole thing to us. Not sure how he can legally do that but hey ho, bad language happens.
The rugby paid nothing as it was never the intention that they played there. They were going to stay at Central Park until it was sold off to Tesco and Whelan bailed them out.
The original idea was for us to share with Orrell.
If it comes to that Wigan Athletic paid nothing either. Dave Whelan (with various Government subsidies) and his company built it. It’s owned by him and Whelco, so he can do what he likes with it.
Just listened to the interview on BBC site and I must say I don’t like it.
Not because he’s an ex-Latics lad but because I don’t think any manager has the right ot talk in public about one of his players and retain the respect of the rest of the squad. They have no idea who’s next, and to call someone thick is way way out of line.
He’s trying to be as controversial as his Dad in an era when that is out of order. Besides which I thought his Dad was an idiot at times.
He has gone down in my estimation a long way.
he has a gardening job not sure where it is but it may be a local gardening place or something like that :?: :?:http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal … 388972.stm
:?: :?: :?:
It’s a very specialised job because he’ll just be looking after leaves apparently.
She’s not sung yet.

Wouldn’t it be good if he was one of the fans shown on MOTD leaving when they went 4-0 down
What’s better is he will be at the next match regardless … with a slightly singed shirt presumably
Favourite smell now sadly missing. The smell of baccy wafting across the pop side. The smell of wintergreen. Pie smells and stale ale in the bar at the top of the pop side. The worst smell is that of a warm boff in the now all seater New Springfield. Mind those toilets hummed behind the club shop at Springy and those dungeon bogs under the Phoenix Stand. Never had a leet bulb in theer either. If you want to believe it was baccy you could smell then that’s fine by me ;)

I’m a bit puzzled by these comments (nothing new there then).
Most of the opinion seems to be that either at the least he is struggling or at the worst is completely out of his depth in the Premiership.
However, I think it is fairly widely recognised that he is a very good Championship level manager.
If we go down then surely he is exactly the sort of manager we need.
“60 odd users”
Not all of us are odd, you know
People on here always carping about summat
