I am sure that somewhere in the country is the most-attended hockey, polo, lacrosse or netball team. I don’t think that would be cause for great triumphalism though.

My job used to be to act as liaison with referees. I used to go to the pre-match briefings, and be the link during games.
Most refs actually were OK, despite making some abysmal decisions. Howard Webb for example is a really nice guy.
The only two who thought far more of themselves than they really were, were Uriah Rennie and Jeff Winter. He really thought a lot of himself.

I have no guarantees there are no clauses in the agreement, but any that allowed a 24/48 hour recall would seem to be outside the rules.
Once a temporary transfer has been agreed it looks (to me who is no lawyer) like it has to last to the next transfer window.
