Too easy, my boy.
Range Rover.
By the way – I hate them – particularly mothers on the school run.
Vava 58/62
Pele 58/70
Breitner 74/82
Zidane 98/06You spell-check all your posts ?
my spell checker hardly ever comes up with the red squiggles under words I use on firefox. believe me sephton my spelling can be bad but perhaps that’s a left handed thing with me been a south paw. ;)
The problem with a spell-checker is that it only identifies words that don’t exist. It doesn’t differentiate between “your” and “you’re” for example ;)
“Eye yews spell Czech on my pea see” will go through a spellchecker fine :D
I thought this was a wind up until I got the Reporter today. If I had a knighthood I’d hand it back. Mind you nearly all of them are self serving tossers who’ve been granted one for merely doing their jobs.
I don’t do wind-ups…. but if I did……

…and no – I don’t know what’s going on either
It’s OK – they were obviously bored. They’ve dug out a few of mine from last July too. :D
We can now add xenophobic to the long list of adjectives used for these…….scumbag
bin-dipping
thieving
benefit claiming
“funniest”
scrounging…………………………..gits
Feel free to add to the list
Actually I don’t think it’s viewed as xenophobic to dislike Americans ;)
Apparently, the media in North Korea are only allowed to broadcast their teams national games after they have finished. They are not allowed to show games in which they lose, or the oppositions goals. Interestingly, when they do lose, there are no highlights, just a written report with the score adjusted to show they won.So, come mid July expect them to be having an open top bus ride parading the cup they ‘won’. But with no highlights to be seen!
Isn’t that like our season’s DVD?

Are you saying you don’t understand what I’m posting? Oh dear. :?
My point is that once Leeds United – who are now the lost sheep of the PL who would love to have them because they are “a big club” – were once considered to be a struggling club with miserably meagre support, ambition solely to compete for a few years with the big boys with the height of ambition being to survive as a Second Division (Championship) club.
Isn’t that what is said about us? Almost the exact same phrases.
But they had under Revie a great ambition. And they became “a big name”. Keep the faith.
Hmm… this is a hard one. Is it Slovenia?
Booooom, there it is.
And only 15 minutes to boot. I will try for a more tricky one next time.
Is the England squad the only squad with no overseas players?
No – Italy too
http://soccerlens.com/italy-2010-world-cup-squad/44764/and Germany
http://soccerlens.com/germany-2010-worl … uad/44739/(There is actually a real book in a similar vein called ‘Eats, Shoots & Leaves’. Punctuation geekery at its finest)
Actually a very entertaining book
The asterisk indicates that these (except for the Oldham game) will be a “Wigan Athletic XI” – ie a mixture of Youth and Reserve players.
Why punctuation is important.
Same words – different punctuation:
Dear Thomas,
I want a man who knows what love is all about. You are generous, kind, thoughtful. People who are not like you admit to being useless and inferior. You have ruined me for other men. I yearn for you. I have no feelings whatsoever when we’re apart. I can be forever happy–will you let me be yours?
