He’s a well known character around Italian football
Totally stupid post.
We all know they’re not really from Ashton-in-Makerfield.
They’re from Ashton-under-Lyne.
The radio 5 summerisor put it quite aptly:“Wigan have overplayed the ball throughout, and they just aren’t good enough to overplay”.
Mutty
It was Stuart Hall, and normally I think he’s a prat of the highest order.
But for once he was spot on. We were playing the better football, but instead of going for the jugular we kept trying to play it pretty – sideways-sideways-back.
The problem I have with today is trying to name anyone that had a reasonable game. Usually there’s at least one player you can say played well.
Today – not one.
What would be a great sporting weekend for me?Wigan win at Bolton, not fussed what the score as long as we win.
All the teams below and around us lose (or draw if playing each other).
My fantasy team gets over 100 points this gameweek.
Wigan rugby lose against Hull tonight.
Perfecto!
I agree all of those except the rugby.
I really really don’t care. It’s like saying I’m bothered that England got beaten by Germany at hockey, or that Great Britain got beat by Lithuania at tennis (and before anyone says anything – I got told this on the radio, I didn’t seek it out).
Bring on the croquet scores, or ten-pin bowling, or Scrabble.
I don’t care whether they win or lose. Really.
He offered to take a pay cut quite a while back.
No – I think you mean “hair cut”

I was glad to see the long throws back in the armoury when needed.
Not in a “Rory Delap this is all we do” sort of way, but providing a further option.
One option we should ditch though is the short corner – when has that EVER been a good idea :(
Had a bet tonight – don’t usually.
1-0 Wigan, Rodallega first goal at 45/1.
Get in there!!!! :D

Perhaps if our defence do their job there won’t be a problem for the stewards ;)
thats a 2min drive and you know it!You obviously haven’t tried to get through the temporary lights at the moment
We were singin it at Brum 2 verses an all !!
I’m ashamed to admit I haven’t been to a single away game all season due to work commitments. (Although saying that, in recent years, I’ve only tended to go anywhere that’s no more than an hour’s drive from my house.)[/quote]
If I did that I’d only get as far as Bryn lights. ;)
Yeah mon us badgers get owd codgers put it on for us.Jst like little scrotes outside spar on a friday neet askin 4 ale. We return the favour by chasing cats out their gardensThe lifespan of a badger is up to about 15 years (how sad am I to have Google’d that!) – don’t you have to be 18 to play the lottery?
