I’d have Boyce at right back and I think he’ll start with Scotland up front instead of Rodallega and Gomez instead of Diame.
But all on bench in case things go pear-shaped.
Melody and lyrics of Flower of Scotland:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJ5fLBEpKo8Actually now they’re just being silly and predicting Jason Scotland will score
“The game does have a feeling of being winnable, but I think our lack of match fitness will cost us. My heart says 2-0 to Notts (Hughes), but my head says 2-0 to Wigan (N’Zogbia and Scotland).”
Preston away was always the best for me. When we won 4-2 and the game we had 3,000 balloons (1 for every fan) ……..The game after that was Reading at home which was a fantastic memoryDifferent seasons. Preston away before the Reading game ended 1-1. The 4-2 was at the beginning of the season – no reason for us to have 3000 balloons.
just had a quick look on the county board and a lot of their supporters are predicting 3 – 400
They’ll be surprised then, won’t they?
Just shows what they know when they post they’ll get “8,333, if we can convince enough people that Wigan are “giants”, instead of a former non-League club, playing in a Rugby League stadium who’s home fans are usually outnumbered. ” with a picture of Springfield Park
They didn’t even put up that much of an argument…why?????They were already 4-0 down and probably figured “why bother”?
A bit like we were against West Ham in the Championship at Upton Park where Fraser Stretton gave a dodgy penalty and both Jackson and McCulloch got sent off and we ended up chanting “off off off” every time a foul was committed by us. There comes a point where arguing gets you nowhere.
Why’s this been moved to “non-football”?
It’s clearly foootball-related?? :?
Extract from an article about injuries picked up at the weekend:-
Martinez, meanwhile, has received positive news about the injuries suffered by Paul Scharner and Mario Melchiot in the weekend victory over Wolves.
“The inflammation from Mario’s nose has gone down and Paul’s knee has reacted very well,” he added.
Not sure why Scharner’s knee should be getting all excited about Mario’s nose getting better. It’s nowt to do with it. It would be better off concentrating on its own recovery :?
Not funny? Pointless post? Yeah ;) [/quote]
Made me laugh – well, smile if I’m honest….
We’re off to Nottingham – 2-1
Didn’t know Lee Hughes played for them
If FGR win how does the “booking a coach seat” work then?
There was a priority system I understood for those who pre-registered now to be able to confirm the booking on Wednesday, but if we won’t know till Thursday if we’ve got a ticket then how does that work?
Ah! Getting on with match now.
We’ve had seats ripped out – riot police – tear gas.
Probably a schools finalNo – deffo Springfield Borough.
I’m sad enough to know they wore white, blue and orange. :(
I completely agree.
After all, if you miss a penalty you must be rubbish.
Just look at these clowns:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xz5NhW7XNmI
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7MZewfxe97EGlad we’ve not get them in our team.
“today we had about 20 plus shots and never looked like scoring other than Zogs goal.”
And so we didn’t win 20-0. Quelle surprise (ask teacher on Monday).
We did win 2-0 FFS. Lighten up.
And no – I didn’t go today. But have been to one or two in my time.
Wind up merchant
Aww! Just when it was getting interesting and I thought we’d have a debate about parallel universes you give up. :(
