Interestingly, would Bogle or Power get in this team?
Probably not JR. I for one was very impressed with lee evans, who looks like a better version of max power.
I don’t understand the Bogle situation, as I can’t see a lot of difference between Toney and Bogle apart from Toney tending to stay on side, so Bogle would probably get a match if Toney wasn’t here.
I think Power has shot himself in the foot. Evans looks far superior to Max, and for me, Power isn’t good enough to displace any of our League One midfielders let alone walk into a Championship midfield.
For me Toney wins a lot more in the air, and doesn’t moan as much.
as well as staying onside.
Meanwhile
Forward Kaiyne Woolery moves to County Ground on permanent deal.
Kaiyne Woolery joins Swindon Town.
Woolery made only one league appearance for Latics.
Woolery initially signed from Bolton Wanderers in 2016.
Wigan Athletic’s 22-year-old forward Kaiyne Woolery has moved to Swindon Town in a permanent deal.Woolery, who was on loan at Forest Green Rovers last season and won promotion from the National League with them, only featured once for the Latics first team since his move from Bolton Wanderers in August 2016, as a late substitute against Derby County last December.
Just think how pressurised it was for me.
I was sat across the aisle from JR on the bus :D :D :DGreat result. MK would never be an easy place to go first up…Not seen anything of the game yet, but I’d take a scrappy 1-0 (away especially) any day.
Not scrappy at all. We played well and (Sod’s Law) Lee Nicholls had a blinder and made a few really good saves, and got their Man of the Match.
All of our team looked good, particularly Massey who ran their left back ragged, and Michael Jacobs who ran for every minute.
A superb all round performance in my eyes.
No he will be at home because his partner has either just given birth or about to give birth. Well that’s how I read the post. Good luck to you and your Peg and I hope everything goes well for you all.Precisely.
Talk about misreading!14-0 now.
Five for Will Grigg.
Exactly what we need – get confidence in putting it in thenet.
It doesn’t matter who the opposition is. Get the target lined up.They def need fookin empty heads like you :) happy clapper, that’s if you can make both hands meetAsk the club, ask the players, ask other fans, including many on here – what would you prefer? Happy clappers with optimism and enthusiasm, or empty seats?
I’d like to bet I know the answer.
If you don’t want to come, then no problem. Don’t.
But really, really, don’t claim to be a long-standing, ‘I went to Great Harwood in 1905’, ‘I remember when Harry Lyon took off his left boot and scored a goal in his socks’, or whatever, supporter.
You are as fickle as a JCL, maybe less so as many of thos4e are still here.Just go and support whoever you want. But remember to shut the door behind you.
Anybody professing to support the rugby, isn’t a genuine Latics fan. I’m sorry, but it’s not possible.
That, of course, Dave, is absolute nonsense.
I personally don’t like Warriors for personal reasons, and find rugby league these days boring.
But to say that people can’t support teams in completely different games is ludicrous. Once you actually get your head above what their fans say or ours say (considering that I dismiss a fair bit of rubbish from ours anyway), then of course people can support both.
I fully accept that others (JR for one I know) don’t like (to put it mildly) the rugby – that’s their view on the matter which I respect on a personal level – but to say “Anybody professing to support the rugby, isn’t a genuine Latics fan” is absolute tosh.
I know loads of people who do both.Donny
Please.
Do you ever, ever, have anything positive to say?
A little ray of optimism perhaps?
I’m a miserable bugger through most of my daily dealings, but I can’t imagine your life living such doom and gloom all day, every day.Jeez.
Everyone’s an expert :(Good to hear Will Grigg an Nick Powell getting a run out today.
Hopefully with Massey Powell Perkins Gilbey and Morsy in midfield and Will upfront we should do ok.
With James and Burke at left and right back that will give us Lang Flores Colclough and Jacobs on the bench.
Actually looking at it that way we should piss the league. That’s down to Cooky now.I can’t believe I have just read that, has someone hacked your account???
Busy postman – he delivered mine about half an hour ago :D
Everything is lies from players to manager to board to owner. The only thing that is constant and honest is our support and supporters. The rest make everything up to suit.
As long as they all get a big fat pay cheque then nothing else matters.
I hope they take note of the empty seats that between them they have created and prepare themselves for some Blackpoolesque protests if they continue to carve our club up.
At the moment I am so disalusioned with football and these unambitious jokers involved with our club. The only constant from the “supporters” is constant moaning
.. and players saying “I love being here”, when signing contracts, but when things happen that mean they have to put some effort in, and what they have caused doesn’t suit them then saying “well, so long and thanks for all the fish.”
I am also guessing that someone at the club has b*****ked him for posting this on Facebook
