But the performance is important. We want the team to play well to give us the best chance of staying in the league and reaching the Cup Final.
The problem today was in midfield – there wasn’t any. They couldn’t compete with the Norwich players. The problem arose at half-time against Newcastle too. Wigan only got back into that game when McArthur came on for McManaman.
The defence didn’t play well today – but there was precious little protection in front of them. Gomez and McManaman contributed very little. Once again, it was after McArthur came on – replacing McManaman and allowing Gomez to go further forward – that Wigan took control.
Martinez made the changes just in time in both games – and Wigan gained the vital six points. I’d like to see McArthur back next week, and perhaps Di Santo too. Al Habsi is reported to have been Man of the Match in Australia v Oman. At least Martinez has real choices now.
Just chill out we won
Scruffy win indeed how many on here would have settled for this earlier in the season
And indeed well done to Norwich for bringing that many ,Last year they brought double that amount the money they spend around town as well makes the tics in the premiership a profitable brand for the town of Wigan would you not agree Pie chops
It will be on the week building up to the game no doubt I found it on another forum but just type in pub guide to wembley on google

congratulations I just hope there is a stadium left with that weight mass have parked there lardy arses in our stadium :woohoo:
I’m on coach 22 :silly:
Tiredness may be a problem; Al Habsi has been to Australia and Di Santo, Beausejour and Henriquez have been to South America.
Hopefully, Wigan will be able to carry on where they left off against Newcastle.
They’ll have flown first class and probably had beds to sleep on as opposed to flying economy and not being able to get comfy because you’ve either got some little kid kicking your seat or a fat bitch who sticks her bare feet at the side of your seat for 24 hours. Not to mention the Chinese family at the side of you who are up and down to the toilet every 5 minutes and have that much shite on their tables/seats that it takes them 3 hours to get up and bang into you as one of them brushes past(some of the experiences I’ve had when flying to Oz)[/quote]
Egg that sounds just like a train journey to southport during the school hols
