Bad advice that, In my experience, things get slacker the wetter they get.

What do you think of the combi rig?26 November 2012 at 1:09 am #97141I wouldnt swap him for any other keeper in the world, keeping us in the game with a cracking save at 2-2…again. Loves to play for the club, we are very lucky to have him, thanks Bowton.
Agreed
Two buffoons, then? You wouldn’t swap him for any keeper in the world? Give yourselves a shake, lads.
Who would you swap him for then Griff?
That is such a silly question to ask on every level ishmael.
I thought everyone who reads this board knows that griff would pick himself to do the job, in his mind he is superior to every other person on the planet at what ever he does.
self-perception and reality – two very different things !
don’t hold yer breath waiting for an answer.
26 November 2012 at 1:15 am #97142Have you ever seen Arky and Sudders in the Brick at the same time?

My, my – Brown Owl has come out to join the rest of the girl guides this weekend.
As for the original question, none of you can think of a better keeper in the world than Ali?
I never said I wasn’t happy with him but there’s nobody in the world better? Really?
26 November 2012 at 1:30 am #97144Have you ever seen Arky and Sudders in the Brick at the same time?Yes, I talked to both of them at the same time yesterday.

26 November 2012 at 2:03 am #97148Not even wasting my time. There’s a panful of keepers better than him in the world. But he’s good for us.

It is a fact that to attract bigger fish you have to feed off the smaller ones first……..and as the old saying goes, if at first you don’t succeed, try and try again.
26 November 2012 at 2:21 am #97151Joe Hart (recent mistakes accepted) & Manuel Neuer spring to mind for arguments sake
26 November 2012 at 2:24 am #97152Not like you to contribute to an argument Salford.
26 November 2012 at 2:33 am #97153Not like you to contribute to an argument Salford.Fair comment
But in my defence a “heated debate” is surely a more interesting read than the juvenile whining, repetitious fishing tips or the poor quality multis we are subjected to.
But seriously nobody within their right mind would pick Ali over those two?!?
Although having recently said I would take Ellington back I am also guilty of thinking with my heart over my head.
