i think its more to do with Samba’s club recouping the amount they paid for him – plus a little more to release him from his contract.

agree totally though. Mad amount of money that……..

QPR still making the mistake (hopefully) in believing that buying a lot of expensive players makes a good team.

All it does is make a collection of expensive (and egotisitical) players.

Im sure I read harry say “no signings in jan for us?”
He really doesnt give a flying fuck about the clubs he works for in my opinion.
We should all hail roberto with his prudent business dealings and having our clubs best interests at heart .

        Wrong. Hope they go bust.

Not only that, but apparently he’s on £100,000 per week.

        Mental.

If QPR are spending that on a transfer & salary then I’d wager it is because their chairman has authorised it.
I’m sure redknapp went with a list of ideal targets, they’ve costed them up & made bids accordingly
Redknapp seems to get the blame for “ruining” clubs but he only spends what the owners tell him he can just as if he was at Latics he’d have to operate under Latics budget

You’re right there TL. Isn’t his fault if they have allowed him a large budget.

100k a week. Clint Hill will be demanding a wage increase. Can only be on 10k a week that fella. All he’s worth in fairness but that wage structure is laughable!

            Chairman

I’d love to be the Chairman of a football club and interview Arry for a job.

“So…..you’re going to spend all my money and risk the future of the club. What will I get in return? Nothing? You’ve never won anything? Ah, one FA Cup and one top 4 finish. Thanks for coming, we’ll be in touch.”

                One word……

                Portsmouth.

Old deputy dawg is at it again. Spending money like Montgomery Feckin Brewster! (Google it, kiddies!)

12.5 million for Samba? Never mind Samba, I’d want a decent Brazillian for that! Yes, he’s big and a tough defender…..

..but if he is worth that, James McCarthy MUST be worth £20 million.

Shame on QPR for allowing it to happen. Hope they go down and go feckin bust.

QPR are only doing what man city or chelsea have done for the last few years’

For those of you worried about or hoping they go bankrupt I have some good news for you.

If Tony Fernandes goes skint, although he has a personal fortune of some $ 500million, they may not be able to call on the man who is the real money behind QPR Lakshmi Mittal, up until a couple of months ago he was quoted by Forbes to be the 6th. richest man in the world but he lost over $12 BILLION on share values and it seems he is now on his arse, struggling and down to his LAST $160 BILLION.

The poor fellow has dropped to 125th richest person in the world.

If rednapp bought a full new squad of £10 millon + players and paid them all 100k a week, it would still only be a small blip in Mittals wedge.

cant blame redknapp…if they are daft enough to give him as much as he wants, why wouldnt he spend it?….if he keeps em up, he’s done his job. and if he signs better players than he already has, then he’s a good chance of em staying up.

                      job done…collect his bonus…he’ll be a hero.
