The only reason we are were we are is because there’s more sh1tter teams out there than us.
Again we play Shinnie at the expense of Power and Darikwa.
Tremendous coach
Fcukin sh1t manager
Explain to us why !??,
Magennis and Shinnie ain’t good enough for the u23’s fcukin useless the pair17 April 2022 at 7:33 am #196176I watched the game on TV and was pretty shocked at how easy Cambridge made it look.
I’m hoping that it was a case of you making them look very good rather than them making you look very ordinary.
You’ll still go up – I doubt MK Dons will overhaul your current points total. They have Oxford & Plymouth away, both of whom are still fighting for a playoff spot.
17 April 2022 at 8:17 am #196177The easiest two of the final six I thought and we only get one point.
Need a big performance on Tuesday now !17 April 2022 at 9:40 am #196178League table doesn’t lie as you used to toss yourself off telling us CW.
Yes there are shitter teams than us. ALL OF THEM because we’re 4 points clear.
17 April 2022 at 9:49 am #196179Magennis looked much more effective when the ball played to his feet. He’s being hung out to dry with this pointless 50yd diagonal lumping game. Can count on 1 finger how many headers he won…so why the F@@@ doe he persist with those tactics??? Piss poor at Burton and now Cambridge. Gave them benefit of the doubt at Burton…..pitch,conditions but first half yesterday was woeful. If he wanted to play this long ball game then Magennis was a bad choice. Their 2 forwards yesterday were an example of the type we should have gone for. Speaking to a Hull supporter I work with was baffled as to why we are playing him in that role as most of his goals for them came from delivery’s in from the bylines. Wasting Power in that position 1st half another balls up as was selecting Shinnie (setting up not to lose)and Edwards????? .Anonymous for 45 mins. For the few who still haven’t embraced McClean…..then boy don’t we miss his energy, drive and balls deep commitment!!!……Still in a great position but as I always believe the teams with nothing to play for are more dangerous…..they play with freedom, one eye on possible new contracts and pressure off…….Burton, Cambridge,Shrewsbury and next up Ipswich fall into that category…….and so far we’re not showing too well against them. Would rather play teams with something still to go for.
17 April 2022 at 11:27 am #196181So we had Cousins who was our best player before his injury on the bench.
Aasgaard who has changed the game more than once coming on late both unused.
And before someone says it, they aren’t fully fit then they shouldn’t be on the f##kin bench.
Richardson player management is utter dog sh1te. Why didn’t Cousins come on for Shinnie ?, again it left me baffled and I think he does it because he can.
If it ain’t f##kin broke don’t f##kin fix it.
As for your comment Super Stu, we’re 4pts clear ?, yes we are agree good spot but with 2 long hauls away and Plymouth at home selecting that first half side again those 4pts will be gone in the blink of an eye.I thought Richardson had realised Shinnie Power Darikwa doesn’t work months ago so what does he do ???
If we go up we will fall over the line rather than putting it to bed early doors.
Excellent coach
Sh#t manager
Stop f##kin tinkering when not needed, go safe or are you trying to prove something ??17 April 2022 at 11:58 am #196183I love our fanbase. Cheers me up after a defeat.
By “put it to bed early” would Tuesday be ok? That was the earliest we could be promoted and it still is.
If Cousins had come on for Shinnie then Power stays at RB. The whole reason for the change was to put Max in midfield and go back to a back 5. I’ll give you Aasgaard, but it was him or Humphrys as last sub.
Rotherham beat a team that was playing for nothing, MK lost to a team playing for something. Means little in all honesty.
4 points clear, destiny in our own hands and a chance to have the title at home next week. Not good enough Wigan.
17 April 2022 at 1:50 pm #196184I love our fanbase who can’t see the woods for the tree’s.
So explain eggman
If Richardson feels Darikwa and Power can play out of position with Shinnie in the middle then why can’t play there with Cousins ?. Is Cousins better than Shinnie ? yes by a country mile and don’t use the “match fit” card were talking half a game. If he can’t play that he shouldn’t be named on the bench f##kin pointless, your best player (pre injury) can’t get a game is an absolute joke and p1ss poor management. There was no reason on the planet to revert back to Shinnie and moving Darikwa and Power non what so ever especially as Richardson had seen the outcome of this a good few times.
Rotherham played an Ipswich side with nothing to play for and should have at least got a draw or even won it and at Rotherham, were at Ipswich and should Richardson flex his muscles and start with Shinnie again shifting Darikwa and Power then we will comfortably get turned over.So again, who’s faults that ?, I’ll tell you who
The Manager , period. If he tinkers again then were fcuked. Good managers normally have a system and bring in players to fit that system Rjchardson changes can’t f##kin help himself, it’s like he’s saying,
I’m bored with that.
Richardson thinks 20-30yard hail Mary’s to Magennis who, wins far less than he loses is the answer. What the f##k is he thinking ?.
Aasgaard would have been my choice but it seems Richardson doesn’t like him full stop.
It needed an injection of skill not muscle to unlock Cambridge. We’ve 4 games left, 3 very tricky games, 2 of them long trips away.
If he tinkers well be lucky to get a point.17 April 2022 at 2:17 pm #196187He chose Shinnie. Wrong decision so he changed it. Cousins for Shinnie at HT would have also been the wrong decision because Max was getting hammered at RB.
4 points clear, 2nd best attack, 2nd best defence (having played less games than most sides) wish we’d have sacked him at start of season.
17 April 2022 at 2:21 pm #196188The league table doesn’t lie*
*Unless it doesn’t suit your agenda at the time
17 April 2022 at 3:02 pm #196191We will get promoted and more sweating to come, but yesterday was very disappointing and the team selection was the reason. I have to agree skill not brawn was needed………on the pitch, not bench.
17 April 2022 at 4:59 pm #196192Baffled why he chose yesterday to switch the team around . I get we have a game on Tuesday but win yesterday and we have almost wrapped up promotion. He should have put his strongest team out. Max Power had a nightmare first half at right back ,so easy for a winger to get past him his positional sense in that area is shocking he needs to remain in midfield. Shinnie seems to be very lightweight in midfield he should not lack confidence but he always plays the easy ball ,I really expected more from him. Watt made that brilliant clearance midweek but I really worry about him at centre back especially in a two ,he loses his man too easily and his only out ball seems to be the sixty yard left to right crossfield pass ,too predictable. All in all a poor day yesterday ,especially in the first half where nobody came out of it with any great credit. However ,this team has worked miracles this season and I have every confidence that they will see the job through and we will regain our rightful place back in the Championship. Come on Latics !
18 April 2022 at 8:26 am #196194Look, one man and dog know,
Shinnie isnt good enough,
Magennis rarely wins the long ball game,
Watts is lightweight,
Power can’t play right back,
Darikwa cannot play left back,The reason we know this is because Richardson has tried on numerous occasions
But
For some crazy reason he reverts back to it as if to say, “I’m the gaffer, I knows best”.
Yes Power was getting torn apart but the manager had confidence he can play that role had Cousins come on it might have took a bit of pressure off Power been a bit more attacking minded.
Shinnie ?, Mr Safe backwards or sideways which invites pressure. How the f##k he got player of the season is beyond me, Christ !.
Richardson stop f##kin around m8 making unnecessary wholesale changes when their not needed and they clearly don’t work, there’s only you who thinks they do.For me he did it to give Shinnie a game end of and if that’s the case then his managerial skills need to be questioned.
Again I gave no doubt he’s a cracking coach but bouts of madness like Saturdays starting 11 choice means he needs a good old head wobble.
Stick with what works
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it and try Aasguaard at some point, the lads clearly very talented and can turn a game with one off bits of skill but Richardson must think the same as the majority big the crowd.
Again I say
Richardson
Superb coach,
Not a manager20 April 2022 at 7:52 am #196215Awful tired performance and error ridden throughout.
Snatched a draw at the death and results went for us elsewhere.
The promotion bus running out of fuel but stuttering towards the depot.20 April 2022 at 9:01 am #196216Awful tired performance and error ridden throughout.
