Give the lads credit they dug deep when needed. Certainly under the cosh first half and was glad to see Cousins come on to try and sort the midfield who were getting slaughtered.
Lang looked like he’s carrying a knock or he’s gassed out.

Cousins has been out for long period of time with the worse type of injury a soft tissue one.
He came on against Ipswich when were getting torn apart in the middle and he plugged the gap.
Giving him half hour was perfect for him especially when others start slowing down as the game progresses.Against Plymouth he did a job up till the hour mark but was Def not 100℅ match fit. Yes he got about but slowed down. For me that’s were the manager reads it and rest.
Kerr was f##ked for the last 15 minutes hobbling away but he leaves him on running the risk of a ball over the top and Richardson decides on 1 sub Massey 92nd minute.
I personally think we haven’t rested players when we’ve had the chance in in our League matches.

Leaves Lang on till the death 1-3 could have given 20mins.

He’s the manager so he will win the award numpty. As I pointed out, he’s a great coach and even when offered the job he ummed and arh’d as he even admitted it he preferred the role of coach.

In play decisions subs tactics not for me.I’m setting off in a bit for Pompey and will hopefully see us win the League and shall be singing his name for the job he’s done.
But,
That doesn’t mean I agree with the way he got there. I’ve seen more poor performances than good ones and regular fell short to the better sides.
Like I said we are were we are because the League is poor and that’s a fact.
We’ve won 2 in 7 and remain top which says a lot for the opposition.

. Leam says not, but I think fatigue is catching us up now, half the team can’t raise more than a gallop, their touch has gone, decision making and we’re struggling to get close to the opposition, who all look fresh as daisies by comparison. That was our 4th away game of the month, 1 more to come, and 3 home games also played, and boy does it show.
We have been stuffed up by the elf’s schedule, and perhaps our cup runs. Just hope we can grind it out on Saturday

Just got in from a 510mile drive to watch a second half I can only compare with Ashton u8’s defending.
If your happy with that you need your head dipping in a vat of acid to burn some sense into you.

Richardson great coach, never a manger in a million yearsUtmost admiration for all those who made the trip. Watched it in work. 2nd half defending was comfortably worst I’ve seen from us this season. We really are struggling.Luckily our competitors have had hiccups too so we’re still in pole position. Going to put my emotions through the wringer on Saturday but everyone below us would swap with us. Saving grace with results mean both Plymouth and Gillingham need to win against Rotherham and Mk Dons so they’ve got work to do. My only concern is playing another team with zero to achieve. Seen with Cambridge, Burton, Ipswich and Portsmouth that they play with more freedom the pressure is off….2pts from 12…..against Plymouth who had a target we performed better albeit still on a draw. I think Shrewsbury will be difficult…..one stat I noticed is that for their lowly league position their goal difference is only -1…….compared to -9,-15,-30 of the teams around them ,so certainly won’t be easy but hopefully we’ll finish in style and enjoy the delights of Shrewsburys hostileries after.
If the lads are getting a tad tired then what’s wrong with resting tired players. We had a bench full of players eager to go. A striker in Humphrys with splinters in his arse. Watts who is young and keen. Shinnie with all his experience. Then Theolo a young match changing genius. I mean Humphs brought on when it’s over. If they are tired why did we cancel the original Burton game to piss off to the sun? That could have been played and won with the players we still had. We wouldn’t have done any worse but oh no it meant playing the game in midweek ahead of Easter which is notoriously busy. What happened? Ballsed it up at home to Cambridge. One bloody point at home to Cambridge and this season would have been put to bed but we went for a mid week game through choice ahead of it and made the most ridiculous tactical change of the season too. To think we could have even beaten Burton without the international players at that time.
