Well all in all i think they pussy footed round him, wasted 10mins+ talkin about the atmosphere in the stadium.I May have miss heard but when asked about team selection did he say it goes off the form they show in training not just the form in a match, because if rodders and 1 or 2 others are in form i am the next pope
Maybe he should become a director of football, concentrate on the structure of the club and make that right, allow another chap to come in an manage the team?
the question about the shots on target was stupid beyond belief, yet my question which i posted that was sensible and a question that a few fans would like to be answered was not! how can i actually take anything said on here serious? or for that matter, this whole site?

How can we take you seriously with what appears to be (even with wigan on it) a man ure banner. answer please
I just don’t take the whole club seriously any more. I think in the last 3 seasons i have become the least interested fan of Wigan Athletic. I think i have gone past the point of being bothered now.
It’s gone from Season Ticket holder, then to Watching every game on the telly and still caring to now just watching a game until we go 1-0 down and putting someone else on.
I will go again when i see the team being invested in. Not just to swallow up peoples money for a relegation battle. Who want’s to pay £250 to watch crap football, your team score about 7 at home all season and to win just 2 or 3 games. No sir not me

Way to go, Yosser – that’s the kind of support of our stature needs.

I think i am saying. Who wants to pay to see that when it can be avoided. Whelan promised the European push and untold funds. He knows what he has to do to get the fans back. He needs to back up some of his promises. Saying he wanted Europe was just to get the fans excited. But now it’s all about just finishing 17th every season. It’s boring. And im afraid that when we go down we will go again. It wont matter to Whelan of course because once we are relegated and he has received his parachute payments(or at least the first one) and the transfer fees of some of our better players he will be off. Like every other company he has ever been involved with, Soak up the profits and run. No doubt he will say that the club can keep the parachute payments for the 2013-2015 seasons so the town thinks he is a martyr again. He is not interested and he says he would sell the club for £50, If that is the case why doesn’t he just hand it over to one of the other board members, A younger member who has learned from him. It’s obvious why. He will only walk away after relegation is achieved.

when & why did you start watching Wigan in the first place?
which have been your favourite times (years/seasons)?
I will go again when i see the team being invested in.
Seriously, how much monetary investment by Whelan or ANO would it take to get you back watching matches?
And im afraid that when we go down we will go again.
it is interesting that you still refer to the club/team as ‘we’ (not a question)
… Soak up the profits and run.
do you think that Whelan has made a profit out of his involvement with the club and if so approximately how much?
He is not interested and he says he would sell the club for £50, If that is the case why doesn’t he just hand it over to one of the other board members,
which of the other board members (or in fact who in general) do you think would have sufficient funds(*see question above) to make a meaningful investment in the club (and get you back watching matches)?

1. Started going in 1993 when i was allowed to go but followed them since before then. Granted not all that much before. About 1991 Because like every kid i followed man utd before that.
2. Not so much an investment as in pumping millions and millions in, Just enough to replace the superstars we have lost. Not 1m second rate players.
3.I am adamant he has made profits. Of course he has. He always does. One thing he is good at is making money. I don’t read or buy into that we are so skint after so long in the biggest revenue earner in the world.
4.I don’t have an insight into the board members bank details but they must have some knowledge and some wealth. Keep 2/3 of the tv revenue money for themselves. Give 1/3 to the manager and let him keep any transfer fee received to be able to keep us going in the same direction we were headed before all of our best players were sold.
