But going to the football isn’t just about going to watch 90 of play is it. It’s about the experience, I always thought it was a day out myself. Going to a local derby or travelling to London to watch Latics was a full day out, Smoking, Drinking in the stands, Walking through the streets singing e.t.c e.t.c. Maybe that was just me.
I am going round in circles. I will leave it there

2. Not so much an investment as in pumping millions and millions in, Just enough to replace the superstars we have lost. Not 1m second rate players.
3.I am adamant he has made profits. Of course he has. He always does. One thing he is good at is making money. I don’t read or buy into that we are so skint after so long in the biggest revenue earner in the world.
4.I don’t have an insight into the board members bank details but they must have some knowledge and some wealth. Keep 2/3 of the tv revenue money for themselves. Give 1/3 to the manager and let him keep any transfer fee received to be able to keep us going in the same direction we were headed before all of our best players were sold.
I bet the board members of Wigan Athletic, including Whelan, would just love to be sufficiently wealthy to be able to bank-roll a genuine push for European football.
If I were them, however, with the apathetic support we get, I’d be tempted to keep my hard-earned in my pocket.
Griff, do you not think a large number of our squad are apathetic ? Get out clauses in their contracts should we go down etc ! It does show in my opinion !

This is not aimed at you Fill but it amazes me how fans know the ins and outs of a players contract it is quite possible that some players have get out clause in the contract but i would assume that they have other clauses like win bonus ,goal bonus in ali’s case a clean sheet bonus
the question about the shots on target was stupid beyond belief, yet my question which i posted that was sensible and a question that a few fans would like to be answered was not! how can i actually take anything said on here serious? or for that matter, this whole site?
How can we take you seriously with what appears to be (even with wigan on it) a man ure banner. answer please
1. its not a man utd banner.and it would be silly for anybody to think that when im on this site.
2. do you think anybodies questions were asked?
3.do you think the person who came out with the comment about the shots was the right person to be in such a place.
4. i am a wigan fan in every sport. i support my home town in anything as I AM WIGAN. so dont think that im a mindless warriors OR latics fan because im proud of both. WIGAN TILL I DIE COCKERS!

Don’t tell me you can’t spot the similarities eggman. Like many others in this town he appears to be a plastic glory hunter. I’ve no doubt that it will change colour to sky blue by the middle of may. ;) ;) ;) ;)
