Because he is looking to the fans for sympathy.

My initial reaction was one of shock and surprise and I could understand why he is upset. That said, I think disgrace is a bit strong and if I had been asked before hand whether I thought he would/should get a new deal, I would probably have said as a backup player only and if I had to go either way, I’d have gone with no.
As iconic as it was him lifting the FA Cup, and as upset as Paul Kendrick may or may not be about the way he has been treated, those factors should have very little bearing on how we build our squad for hnext season.[/quote]

Wrong again, gobshite! I meant that you were right that most people thought it was a disgrace whereas I was saying the most people weren’t saying that. That doesn’t make them, or you, right.
