FIFA World Cup Champions, Premier League Champions, Champion The Wonderhorse, Danny Champion of The World: there have been manyYet still we are the only club in history who claim to have been FA Cup Champions.

Nope
Maybe our claim persuaded the FA to change it?
Nope

I’m sure I saw some WAFC merchadise recently that referred to us as FA Cup Winners. Even our own club management is getting it wrong, apparently

They also released t-shirts saying champions on so yes, seems they do :)

Not always though, the big glossy book published commemorating our victory states FA Cup Champions on one large photograph.

Well said Horc, however, I fear it will mean nothing to those struggling with a linear/non linear thought process. The sponsor, the club and now, it would appear, FIFA themselves have all given examples of how we can call ourselves FA Cup Champions but the vocal (massive) minority will still believe they are right. It is difficult to negotiate concessions with those who have closed minds.

Not strictly true SW. Sure I heard some arsenal fans singing FA Cup Champions on Sky Sports News when they won it in May! Maybe we are trend setters, as a previous post suggests..

Possibly Jimmy. If we have rocked the trend and the winners of the FA Cup will now be widely known as The Champions, I’m converted! -
