As good a first round FA cup tie as we have ever had for many many years and we won’t be able to go !
It never rains but it pours and all that ………….I give Chorley a chance. Our club has been massacred and it really stuck out first half on Saturday. Bad rumours about the takeover and the fact that yet again in true Latics fashion it’s taking a lifetime to sort out. Are we ever going to have any good news to end this nightmare. I must admit I have lost the confidence I had when the takeover was announced and now fear the worst again.
We will probably play a 2nd string too. Of we have one.
The takeover is taking as long as everyone said it would take. 3-4 weeks. The administration has been shorter than most clubs. impatient bunch wiganers.
Playing 2nd string would be the worst decision of the season. What could the club really do with right now? A big premier league side away in the 3rd round. I know there is no gate receipt money but there is certainly some well needed coffers to be had. The club needs to look at cup competitions pre 1995 again where a cup run was a very much needed bonus.
After that dogshit tonight we will not get past Chorley. If it wasnt bad enough us going into administration, having been relegated cruelly and selling off all our players as we ll as 70 odd poor folk losing their livelihood. Baron Greenback the slimy bastard slumbers us with Sheridan the worst manager on the planet. Just when is all this going to stop coz I doubt I can take much more.
Football decisions are nothing to do with Krasner nor is he the man in charge of operations.
We look toothless going forward, but with constant changes to the side it’s no wonder. We just need to get a settled XI (preferably with mainly senior players) and we’ll look a better side. Always going to be a tough season though regardless.
Its the fuckin’ way we lost that counts, that last night was total garbage, i always knew it was going to be a tough season but the past few matches have been woeful to say the least, last night was the worst i’ve seen EVER from a Latics team.
Unwatchable! Our fans aren’t going to come back to watch that dross unless they are puddled in the head!

The goals we are conceding are terrible but worst ever? Give your head a wobble bullitt lad. Off the top of my head, LDV Vans at Wrexham in the Jewell days, Canvey Island, 6-2 at Bristol, 4-0 Prem opening day against Blackpool.

Is this the bit i need to read slowly or were you just talking bollocks again?
Was like a throwback to that dreadful run under Cook last season. 0-0 at the break, team talk on how to go and win the game, dumb mistakes and game over within 5 minutes of the restart.
Going forward we clearly lack any form of killer instinct/idea but as Stu says we are basically a team of kids and players nobody else wanted. With our best XI on the field week after week we will get some results but once we need to make changes we’re in trouble.
Definitely not the worst ever from a latics side, there have been many worse than that with a supposedly better side than that.
Seems like the happy clapping point scoring mob are out again or have i watched a different game, that was fuckin’ awful and you know it.
I’ve seen better organisation, football, commitment and more shots on goal from a Under 14s team at Laithwaite Park.
