I know the new owners have given their blessing to Cookie but as we all know new owners like to stamp their authority on clubs, and I’m afraid this could happen here, at this rate if our home form dips we’ll be in the shister but I’ve a feeling if we can stay mid table come January we’ll make a good run and will end up in the play offs our best is yet to come, Cookie must stay.

The new owners will be thinking “Shall we back him in Jan or give someone else the money”. I mean, how many times do you see managers in trouble given no money to improve the squad then suddenly get the chop. Then the new manager is given funds to improve the squad.
More worrying for me is, how we’ve suddenly just started lumping the ball up front. These are not even 30-40yard attempted cross balls thier Peter Kay “Have it!!” Jobs.
That is the fault of the nanager for allowing it or even worse, for telling them to do it.Cooky has been backed to the hilt by the board from the moment he arrived. Keeping hold of Grigg Morsy Burn Powell through 2 windows last season got us promoted.
He also has had a limited budget this summer which allowed him to keep hold on to Powell again and bring in more players which may not have even been his entire choice.
Up to now we are not coping too badly but changes have been forced through injuries to key players resulting in swapping and changing the side around and we are now showing a little inconsistent form with some of the hoof ball being played in desperation.
It is miles too early to even contemplate another manager and find it disgusting if a new owner should come in and think that way.
Hopefully results will improve as players return and hopefully then a new board gives Paul Cook the resources for him to play the way he likes at this level.When were at full strength we can give any team in this league a game and plenty to worry about.
Paul cook is an excellent manager and will potentially manage at higher than the championship. We’re privileged just look at the poor managers we had previously take us to the top cook I’m sure he’s committed.find it disgusting if a new owner should come in and think that way.

I doubt there will be any radical changes especially manager wise. It doesn’t sound like the owners are about to do an Uncle Dave and put a time limit on us making the greed league. They will not be throwing cash at it so who better than PC is out there. Its not going to be the magnificent ride Mr Whelan took us on so just be happy where we are and lets do everything to stay there.
