We’re all concerned about the club we support fil, but sacking Cook could well make things worse if the new appointment isn’t the right one. See Mackay and Joyce as examples. Mackay even had a decent record at this level.
I would certainly take Cook over Unsworth or Royle for example.
We shouldnt really be concerned after all Dave Whelan was one of the wealthiest people in the country and left our club in the capable hands of IEC who he thought were better placed to take us forward. All our concerns will disapear after January when the recruitments arrive and we fly up the league.
Getting rid of Cook will achieve nothing in my opinion. The players are behind him and are giving everything so I can’t see us having a Man Utd style turnaround just by sacking him.I keep saying it, but had you offered me this position at this stage then I would have taken it and TBH I’m still confident we will survive.
mc.kay always had teams fighting for promotion in this division. Only time he failed was with us he couldn’t motivate a team nearer the bottom.end off the day the owners have the right to do what they want.
