Thought our performance was good considering we only had 10 men for 75mins. Especially second half.
Criticism would be we were wasteful with the ball and more quality with it around the box would have us seen us beat Derby.
Derby weren’t brilliant and that Wilson is a horrible player. Cheating bar steward. The lads got talent but his antics overshadow it.
Finally, officials were terrible today. Harsh sending off and worse tackles from Derby went unpunished. lines man on East stand side got plenty wrong..9 December 2018 at 12:23 am #173825Wilson epitomises everything about the way they do things at Liverpool and the other top clubs.
Shaun Dyche was only talking about it after the match at Turf Moor the other night.
Cheating is the way these days. Same goes for Morsy running around screaming trying to get the same lad sent off holding his head when he didn’t touch him. Equally as bad.9 December 2018 at 3:46 am #173830I thought the lad pushed his head into Morseys face. In today’s game you don’t have to “See u Jimmy” headbutt someone to get sent off.
The ref was totally out his depth letting certain fouls go unpunished.
All in all I thought a point would have been a fair result but Lampard seems to think they dominated and they were in full control…as if9 December 2018 at 11:44 am #173831I thought the lad pushed his head into Morseys face. All in all I thought a point would have been a fair result but Lampard seems to think they dominated and they were in full control…as ifFirst half they were in total control but we finally woke up in the second half and made a game of it but without a recognised striker on the field and 4 defensive midfielders plus an attacking midfielder up top we could have been as spirited as we have ever been but still wouldnt have scored. Credit to Cook though his ever increasing negative approach saved a cricket score and at least shored things up.
9 December 2018 at 11:45 am #173832The sending off wasn’t harsh at all. Their player was a stride away from getting the ball for what would have been an obvious goal scoring opportunity & Naismith pulled him back. Nailed on red.
And Morsy and their player both went face to face with each other from what I’ve seen. Caution for Morsy for the original foul & caution for adopting an aggressive attitude for their fella for his immediate reaction to that foul.
I’ve only seen the highlights so can’t comment on the rest of his performance but in those 2 instances I feel the ref got it right
9 December 2018 at 1:09 pm #173834After the sending off, which was a correct decision by the way, they had a 15 – 20 minute period where they completely ripped us apart. Had they have converted 1 or 2 chances, we would have easily been out of the game by half time. Good decision by cook IMO to make the substitutions when he did. Second half, we came out with a nothing to lose attitude & deserved a draw.
My only surprise – why garner instead of grigg???9 December 2018 at 1:11 pm #173836The sending off wasn’t harsh at all. 9 December 2018 at 1:19 pm #173838A red isn’t mandatory no but the players Lostock refers to were not even cautioned.
The Bolton player, fair enough as Grigg was going away from goal but Rodwell should have been, and I would imagine would have been had he not already been on a yellow.
The ref yesterday was awful and bought into all the ‘big club’ BS from Frank Lampard’s Derby County.
9 December 2018 at 2:20 pm #173839I know it’s nearly Christmas and it was £25-00 but big clubs and especially so called big clubs near the top bring more than 2000 with them.
Big club my arse.9 December 2018 at 2:47 pm #173840but Rodwell should have beenIf it was Rodwell  then sending him off would give the malingering 2hat a legitimate excuse to not play.
There’s no bigger punishment for him than making him play 90 minutes every fecking week!

Was ‘chatting’ to a DCFC guy on the train on the way back. I mentioned to him the ‘dirty’ style of football they played, that it appeared to be an aim to torment Morsy so much they’d get him sent off and that penalty areas seem to be the slippiest part of the pitch.
He kinda went silent, and the conversation stopped.
Surely the penalty box incident was either penalty or a card for diving. So why nowt, other than a brown envelope in the refs shoe.
Lampard was never the cleanest nicest guy on the pitch, was he? (added to that he is a brexiter and Tory – but we shouldn’t hold that against him)!!
9 December 2018 at 3:28 pm #173842Had Vaughan put his simple chance away then the game would have panned out completely different! That was one terrible miss for a player who goes under the guise of a striker!
9 December 2018 at 4:06 pm #173843I actually felt we were doing ok until the sending off (yellow at best imo) and then we managed to hold on when they tried to blow us away. 2nd half we could have nicked something and probably should really.
