Ask a Wigan Athletic SLO?

I’ll repeat my plea from above as teh new season dawns.
Can we make a bigger effort to signpost that e-cigs are banned?
They ARE banned and have been for years, but the only mention is a small paragraph at teh very back of the programme. I am sure many people don’t know.
Signposting should be clearer, and the announcer when they say “The DW Stadium is a no-smoking stadium…” add “including electronic cigarettes”

It is already banned, so you’re rabbiting irrelevancies mean nothing.
The fact that you don’t seem to realise that it is banned makes my point that the fact needs to be better publicised.

Isnt that for away supporters, So they dont smoke in the concourse or toilets?

It’s absolutely none of your business.
I DO have a health issue with them. And that is completely NOT your business.
But that, I’ll say again, is totally irrelevant anyway.
They are banned. Whether I or you or the Man in the Moon objects or supports, they are banned. Are you having trouble with that concept? It’s not being enforced.
Now go away and moither someone else and demand answers about things that are irrelevant.

I smoke, but obviously it is banned in the Stadium and I respect this, and the wishes of others that don’t want to inhale or smell other peoples smoke so I refrain until f/t.

I brought the subject up earlier in the thread about a smoking gate, as when I have been in the East Stand there is always a gate open at h/t for smokers, but in the West Stand I have never been made aware of one.

Hopefully this is being addressed by the SLO’s and the e cig smokers can join us outside for a quick one at h/t.

If you are a smoker, by god, watching the Latics has been a very arduous task since the smoking ban came in. I can understand a few risking one in the bogs at half time, especially if they have had a few beers, but I have to admit, even as a smoker it stinks in there, and why you would want to have a fag in a piss laden atmospere I don’t know.

It is however an important subject, and should be looked at seriously from both sides to get a fair and amicable agreement.

P.S I also think farting in the Stadium should be banned as at least the fag smoke used to neutralise and mask it a little bit.

Still no idea whether a gate is opened in the West as in the East. If not, then the odd crafty one in might just have to be, and the vape brigade will continue as they did on Saturday.

New season and service at the bar before the game and at half time worse than ever. Two young kids serving and a few more milling about appearing to be doing nothing. Why not have four or five serving so four or five queues instead of just two long lines blocking the concourse. Also why remove the mobile bars and why not have the food bar and beer bar separate, needs sorting.
