Pebble, I am meeting the concourse catering manager before the Forest game, she is keen for you to join us so you can put your views directly to her.
If that’s good with you, email me your number and I’ll call on the day of the game to meet up. No tricks, she genuinely wants the best for us fans and will take in board your suggestions and maybe ask your advice on a few things they want to try.
Email is jason@wiganathleticslo.co.uk
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
15 August 2018 at 4:05 pm #171129Away tickets for standing supporters. Can the Club allocate a certain section for those that like to stand when tickets go on sale? Could they use the term “singing section” as a guise for standing section to get round any rules/regulations?
15 August 2018 at 5:05 pm #171133and why not have the food bar and beer bar separate, ….I thought we’d moved away from that, as if you want a pie and a pint you have to queue twice.
5 September 2018 at 3:04 pm #171574Jay them speakers need sorting in the East .. couldn’t hear a word what was being said on Saturday, all muffled.
5 September 2018 at 11:10 pm #171582Jay them speakers need sorting in the East .. couldn’t hear a word what was being said on Saturday, all muffled. Those speakers just drown out any pre match atmosphere and the music after home goals needs to go, it’s pathetic!
5 September 2018 at 11:46 pm #171587Just break the rules Paul. Bloody hell, the stench of shite ale and crap over priced shit pies is far worse than a nice whisp of tobacco smoke.
Lift the ban too on vaping then at least smokers can have a fix.
I dont smoke or vape but have no problem with smoking in the stadium. Its outside ffs.Still no idea whether a gate is opened in the West as in the East. If not, then the odd crafty one in might just have to be, and the vape brigade will continue as they did on Saturday.[/quote]
The gate nearest to the South Stand was opened for us smokers in the West Stand at halftime on Saturday.
The steward says he will open it at H/T every match, staffing levels permitting.6 September 2018 at 12:06 am #171590Bar area in the west much better on Saturday, more experienced staff, no big queues and people actually queueing in THREE lines.
25 October 2018 at 2:29 pm #172651They are NOT safe. Read the science.
18 November 2018 at 4:39 am #173094Jayt, it has been very quiet since the takeover, a short interview with the IEC CEO and a 90 second Sky interview with DR.
Are they going to have any interaction with the fans to let us know what may or may not be happening? Have you as a SLO been party to anything yet?18 November 2018 at 2:11 pm #173095Deafening with their silence Horc. One huge anti-climax too, after all the waiting, hope and expectations.
You are a mere mortal Horc, a lifelong supporter and the backbone of the club so why on earth would you and another couple of thousand of us be interested?18 November 2018 at 4:48 pm #173099Love a good soundbite you lads.
Maybe they want to get settled in the role first, see whats what and will be discussing things with the actual people who matter like the staff, players, Johnathan Jackson and Paul Cook?
I expect they will be presented to the crowd on Saturday.

I understand what you are saying, but it’s not as if they have not had time to have a bit of a clue what they might do. It wasn’t exactly a last minute pushed through takeover was it?
