As far as I am aware, I think there will be an announcement about it on the WASC website soon.

Hello Jason, today I got the news from a friend that I will be relocated in the West stand, a move from a seat I have held since the stadium opened, that’s 21 seasons in the same seat.
I renewed on the 7th July at 11am was probably one of the first supporters to renew.
Nothing was said about the move but they took my money.
Now with just over a week to go to the first home game, I’m hearing, not from the club, but a friend, that I won’t have my season ticket seat.
At the moment I have no idea where I will be sat.
When the stadium first opened a gang of us went down together to pick our seats so we would be sat together, now what?
Why was this not put out for consultation to the fans, we could have shown our discontent and may have prevented it.
Are you still the fans liaison officer, as I want to know why this has been allowed to happen.
People who I have spoken to this morning are so deflated by the news and where so looking forward to the new season, new owners, new team etc.

How has this been allowed to happen buddy, I would like you to pass on my disappointment to whoever sanctioned this and ask them to reconsider.
It might sound a petty thing to others, but those affected feel totally let down, some even talking about asking for a refund due to the way its been done.
I will be contacting the club, but please pass on our disappointment at your meetings.
            Cheers
            John Ronan

This email has been sent to the latics feedback inbox

              Dear sir or madam.

I renewed my season ticket on the 7th of July the seat that I have held since the stadium opened in 1999.
Today a month later, my friend who sits 2 rows in front of me was called by the club to say he was being moved to another area of the stand, as his seat is located in the “red zone”
Why as this been allowed to happen with no consultation with the fans?
When the ground opened myself and a gang of friends went to the stadium and selected seats together and that’s where we have happily sat for 22 years.
There cannot be any justification for this we will all be split up now which has put a dampener on the coming season which I was so looking forward to.
Its just over a week to our first home game and I don’t know where I’m sitting.

There will be a backlash from those fans being moved, the club has been totally out of order and I wouldn’t be surprised if some fans demand their money back.

Please reconsider this move has to be be blunt it has been done very underhandedly and unprofessionaly.

A very angry and deflated fan.

If what I’m hearing now, that its an EFL instruction and not the club there’s nothing can be done. Now being told all those getting moved have been contacted and ive not been called yet so not sure what’s happening. 🤷‍♂️

Could I suggest that the WiFi and connectivity is improved at DW? I get literally no service around the stadium on O2.

                      Hi Jason,

There are a few grumblings and rightly so about the bridge over the canal and it feeling a bit dangerous getting over it after matches. (bottleneck, slippy, puddles and very badly lit).
I know it isn’t the responsibility of WAFC, but I think it needs bringing up with the Council by the Football Club before someone is seriusly injured.
Please let me know what you think and get back to me if possible.

                      Cheers,

                      Paul.

Before the match last Saturday it showed the pictures of those we have lost since our previous home match. I realise there were time constraints, but it was a bit quick and I’d like to be able to see it again as I thought there were photos of people I half knew, but I couldn’t be sure if it was them or not. Would the club be able to put the it on their webiste so that we can watch it back again?

It’s always been a strange one that, the WiFi has been awful since Prem days.
There are going to be massive changes to the stadium in the season and it is on the list somewhere.

The issue has been raised with the council, Canal and Rivers Trust, plus internally at the DW STADIUM.
The Council did resurface it in 2014, so gives an indication it is their issue to deal with.
Canals and Rivers Trust have no involvement
The stadium doesn’t believe it is their issue.
I’ve raised it with Mal Brannigan and he has asked for the Council to do something or give reasons why they’re not doing.
Ill let you know when there is an update
