got to yours at five to seven. Waited till seven. Still had time to park in usual spot walk to ticket office. Give up on the ineptness of our system and paid on gate at bottom end of East and still made kick off. That was shocking and it could have been even worse.

      Riveting and embarasing fan forum????

      Terrible grammar as well! ;)

Don’t get me wrong, I think we have been immense this season and fully back cook, hornet his decision in the last 2 games have been questionable. Every player wants to play against the best they can, and arguably City are the best in the world at the moment. All our players would want to pay against them including morsey. His last 2 performances and that of the team have been below par , and for me it is because of this impending game.
Unless Perkins is injured why not play him? Twofold it’s against his old club and it gives Morsey his chance against City.

        Cook blew it tonight.

Perkins doesn’t play for us anymore!

Looks like I am wrong, he still does! I thought he went to Bury or someone like that? Must have dreamt it :)

My dad was having this tonight….but Perkins is still here and was a sub tonight.

I like David Perkins. A good pro and a bit of a character. But I hope he isn’t shoved in against city as I think it would be bloody cruel on him. I agree we should have made some changes tonight, started walker, Bruce in defence, Roberts in for Jacobs, etc.

I think cook will be fuming inside. Gave the 11 another chance and was let down.

Morsy now only misses one League game instead of two if he’d got booked after the City game. The City game is actually an irrelevance so he may as well miss that one.
              Maybe that was the plan?

The City game wasn’t an irrelevance to Morsy, hence why he was so reluctant to hustle and impose himself tonight (and reportedly on Saturday). We sent out a team with players looking to avoid cards, injury…..or where plain knackered to start with.

Cook’s also made it clear players won’t be dropped for poor form.

We had quality options to make half a dozen changes and not weaken us. They’d have been fresh, hungry and fighting for a place against City and beyond. It’s all well and good Cook saying it’s easy to look back with hindsight. But after Saturday, to a person, they were saying freshen it up. It feels like the last two defeats are down to poor management decisions.

Now, with the chasing pack capitalising, games are mounting up. Cook will no longer be able to point to us being top of the table to excuse an underwhelming performance. We’ll be the one doing the chasing, and it could be from third spot.

It will be from 3rd spot as I don’t think many will fancy Bury’s chances at Ewood, themselves included !

Be a brave person to put any great sums on us getting back into that top three.

On the basis of that performance I don’t much fancy our chances at Ewood either. ;)

What? We win our game in hand and we’re top by two points.
Some rubbish is spouted on here.
We’ve had a wake up call that’s all.
For all you Darksiders to note: we are now safe from relegation

Apart from Coleclough for Massey that was the same team that played probably the best 45 mins I’ve seen us play this season – the first half against Gillingham. They were excellent against an in form team.

Hopefully its a blip and once the City game is out of the way we’ll get back on track again.

As for Morsy the fact he has 9 bookings prior to last night shows what type of player he is but both him and Cook showed a distinct lack of brains last night.

When it was clear we weren’t going to pull it back Cook should have taken him off but then to get yourself booked after 88 mins for mouthing off shows he must be pretty stupid in my humble opinion.

We need to not get battered next Monday and we needed Sam in the centre of the midfield.

                  Scoreline anyone ????

Sam was right to mouth off. Gave us nothing all night and he was almost kicked in the head but play went on. Grigg was penalised minutes earlier for the same thing.

Shrewsbury playing Rotherham on Saturday. Not an easy game for them, but they’ll probably win in the 94th minute and that will put them 5 clear.

Our game at Rochdale, one of the games in hand, is going to be played on what resembles a farmers field as well.

My gut instinct? Players are bottling it, and may well continue to do so as the pressure mounts, seeing us into the play offs.
That said, I think that over two legs in a play off semi we would get through. We may well get a trip to Wembley Stadium yet, this season.

I can see it happening. This Cup match next week, as prestigious as it is, is proving to be a distraction now. I don’t exactly want us to lose, but I’d settle for The 3 or 4 nil loss, and then we can crack on and catch up on our league games. For the first time this season last night, we were truly shocking at home. Lost momentum? How and why,? Players tired? Morsy suspended, Cook facing a nightmare.

I think a lot of us have got far too cocky this season. On paper we are a better team than Shrewsbury. And we also Blackburn. But it’s hitting form at the business end. Are we doing a Devon Loch? Leading all the way and then slipping up at the end?

You sir, have hit the nail on the head. There has been an awful lot of cockiness this season shown by most of our supporters. Now we lose a couple & panic starts to set in.

Just do what i do guys & gals. Sit back & enjoy the ride. If we go up, we go up. If we don’t, we don’t. Either way it aint the end of the world.
