I think you will find Dereck that with 12 wins out of the last 56 matches Latics have played in is totally acceptable for Royle and he must definitely feel with this sort of form we are moving forwards.

I must admit that this time I have to agree with you.
Out played in the first half, looked like we had never played together yet keeps same team to start the second half. Sitting within 20 yards of him, Ive noticed he spends more time moaning to the 4th official than he does talking tactics with his coaches. At one point he called Richardson over, I thought here goes he’s going to discuss changing things, only to see Richardson go and bring him a cup of tea.
Yes, the time has come for a change, that squad is better than that, it just needs better coaching.

            From Matlock to ManU
            What a journey!

Just beyond any excuse now, isnt it?

Can’t go on any more now. If he doesnt get fired after that, he never will be.

                    I’m a happy clapper. A light sider.
In answer to your question “yes, it was”
No hiding today. We were dire.
Whether we judge what is to be done on one absolutely awful performance when we compare against last week when we were by far the betther team and should have won, is a moot point.
                    But today we were woeful.

Question for you gl, because we struggle to score and Cookie is a negative coach and the fact we conceded early. Do you think this is the reason for being poor today. The lads must have felt the worst shortly after kick off coz like us they know how inept we are up top. So to go behind so early must have knocked them sideways. Just a thought. We have played well up until today .

Last week was a one off half decent performance but we still lost because of mistakes made by the manager.
Today was embarrassing and Cook showed his mangerial prowess yet again when Kipre got sent off by substituting our right back then moving our right winger to right back.
The man is clueless and out of his depth.
                      He has got to go.

Today was the worst in a long time, on a par with the dross served up under Mackay and Joyce.

That’s how bad it was today for anyone lucky enough not to be there!

Yes it is time for a change of manager, but who’s next? Remembering the two above, be very careful what you wish for!

Well during the seventies and eighties there was a works side in Eccleston named Carrindew Athletic. They weren’t that great really and played in the Chorley Alliance League. They had one or two managers who did their best. Now maybe one of those could come out of retirement because surely they couldn’t have a less win ratio from the last 56 games (12 wins) than Cooky has.

                        Manager

We couldn’t do any worse without a manager at all as the current one has no managerial qualities and instills no confidence in the team.
He is tactically inept, one dimensional and has no plan A nevermind a plan B
Today was as bad a perfomance I have seen for many years and the boos echoing from the stands from the few remaining supporters at the end were totally justified.
