5 September 2013 at 1:19 pm #120635Good post-Martinez had an eye for hidden talent and I bet a few more scouts are up in Scotland after the fee received for .
Yet the only one people ever harp on about is Boselli.
The anti-Martinez brigade never let the facts get in the way. There is no justification for slagging him off as much as they do. I can only put it down to the latent racism that undoubtedly exists in Little Wigan – and in this case, I am not using the ‘Little’ in an endearing way. More in a small-minded context.
[That should generate some indignant coffe-spluttering. Time to log off. Blue touch paper, and all that]

I think a lot of them couldn’t handle the fact he was at the club long before they were.

Give over.
He beat Chelsea at home in his first season with us – nothing to write home about.15 September 2013 at 4:05 am #121035Probably a better chance of us being in the bottom 4 before BobTick Tock
Yip he beat a big club today but be prepared for him drawing against the likes of Cardiff, West Brom, Norwich and struggle to beat Stevenage in the cup…..oh he already has done??, come on lad if you heard the commentary on 5 live coming home from Leicester, Chelsea should have been 6 nil up at half time. tock fekin tick. :P

15 September 2013 at 1:40 pm #121046No way will that Everton side hit the bottom four -deffo top ten after what I saw last night and not an ex Latics player in sight.
15 September 2013 at 2:18 pm #121047No way will that Everton side hit the bottom four -deffo top ten after what I saw last night and not an ex Latics player in sight.Everton scored on the stroke of halftime. Chelsea came out after the break and tore into Everton.
Martinez rearranged the team, taking off Jelavic and bringing on McCarthy. Mirrallas played up front on his own and Everton immediately looked much more secure. Chelsea found it harder to make chances and a win for Everton seemed likely from then on.
With a little luck, Everton might easily have won one or two of their first three games. Instead, they had a little luck yesterday. But put Lukaku into the team and Everton should look impressive.
And Baines was on the field too.
15 September 2013 at 3:13 pm #121049Tick Tock, Tick Tock; two more places to go ! This post is set to run !
Next up Chelski. Don’t think Bob’s new signings will save him. He could sign 10 strikers and still only play with one up front ( mind you, Lukaka is a good un ), Barry is pants and Macca is not as effective ( careful choice of word here ) as Fellani. So it’s bottom four on Saturday at 16:50pm[/quote]
Everton remain undefeated and Barry was Man of the Match. Your next predictions please!

You need good players to have a contingency plan and we didn’t meet that criteria and from what I saw yesterday we still don’t ! Yesterday was utter garbage !
