5 November 2013 at 1:55 am #123182You don’t really want to discuss the candidates for the Champions League, do you?
You just want to pour ridicule on Martinez and wind up a few people who respected his efforts when he was here.
It’s sad to see this site reduced to such a low level.
Chelsea, Man U, Man C and Arsenal, will that do you?
Oh and I hope Everton get relegated.
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!5 November 2013 at 2:13 am #123186I hope I win the National Lottery but that’s not likely to happen either.
5 November 2013 at 1:39 pm #123195The original thread is still there with more than 200 responses. I don’t know why LHL has started a new one. It seems even more ludicrous now than it did before.
It is still there, but it appears to have been locked, so maybe LHL has started a new one as a justifiable protest, but don’t worry Barnsley, I am sure it will soon be locked again once a certain couple of posters see it.[/quote]
Certifiable, more like.
If only you lot would spend as much energy supporting your own team…
5 November 2013 at 2:13 pm #123196Griff, I would guess having witnessed their support that both Horc and Alasdair are far more animated than you on match days when it comes to getting behind the team ! Just saying !

Just saying !Me and HORC have always given our utmost vocal support to the Latics. Afterall, we are the original two man Kop. If you don’t believe us, just ask Kevin Langley; he’ll vouch for our decibel rating !
As for Roberto we always gave him unequivocal support, before he earned his Judas Tag !
6 November 2013 at 3:32 am #123215He didn’t earn his Judas tag – you invented it.
Who has your unequivocal support now – Owen Coyle or the Burnley fans?
The former Clarets boss ran the gauntlet from 5,000 travelling fans at the Reebok. Owen Coyle hit back at Burnley’s furious fans by telling them, ‘You should call me Moses, not Judas.’

And? That makes them more grown up than me, does it? Thought not.

What on earth makes you think I would waste even a nano-second validating your comment.
As for Roberto we always gave him unequivocal support, before he earned his Judas Tag !Judas? Oh dear, gro… well, I guess you get the message by now.

Judas Iscariot: He is infamously known for his kiss and betrayal of Jesus to the hands of the chief Sanhedrin priests in exchange for a payment of thirty silver coins. Has a familiar ring to it, doesn’t it.

I think that sums it up perfectly LHL, but he’s not the first and certainly won’t be the last.

Yes, I know who Judas was, you patronising get.
And yes, it has a familiar ring to it because, as your mate Horc quite rightly says, he isn’t the first and he won’t be the last – if indeed that is why he left, and I’m not convinced, by the way – because that’s how football works. So get over it, over yourself and stop crying into your Junior Latics pillowcsae and duvet set.
It must be killing you that Everton are sitting safely and promisingly in the top half of the table and that Bob is receiving support and praise from the majority of pundits, media and Everton fans alike.
Mind you, they generally know their stuff, Everton fans. Not like some of the idiots we have to put up with supporting our team. Just saying ;)
17 November 2013 at 11:34 pm #123535Don’t often says this, but: Come on you Reds !

18 November 2013 at 12:05 am #123541And now you’ve said it twice.
24 November 2013 at 12:45 am #123665Tut, Tut !
Two points dropped at home.
It’s all downhill from here. -
