There are lots of things you’re not old enough to understand. It’s not so much a love of Martinez, it’s more a dislike of ridiculous criticism.

He always played free flowing attacking football, always set his team up right for every match, his tactics were near on perfect all the time and he always had a plan B for when plan A failed.
He will always be remembered for his playing days at Latics, and with a bit more honesty and integrity in those last few months he would have been remembered by most people with more fondness as a manager.Back to the thread; How long before “Bottom Four Bob” has Everton at the wrong end of the table?

But I can understand why there are fewer active posters here. It’s strange to find more comments about Everton’s forthcoming games than about Wigan’s. Does no-one care about Wigan’s matches any more?
