Just done a quick check on the first 4 pages of this thread and Barnsley you have posted 17 times and me 8{including 4 non-Martinez related posts]
I think that just about proves that it is not me who is obsessed with Martinez, but others who keep harping on to me about letting go, when they themselves have him firmly squeezed between their buttocks….. a few others also need to check their post count on this thread ;) :P
Reed niggling under low cloud, always pays dividend in Autumn.
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!10 December 2013 at 2:21 am #124619Keep calm, JR – it wasn’t intended to be personal.
Let US go back to our principles and agree once again that the season doesn’t end in December.
And admit that it was ridiculous to christen Martinez as Bottom Four Bob as early as September.
And it is still the season of goodwill. Can’t we agree to cease hostilities?
10 December 2013 at 2:26 am #124620I am certain that under bob Everton will get into the champions league this season. He will spend very wisely, as he always does, in January, then watch them go. Dw was correct when he said bob was the best in Europe. Got to be our all time greatest manager, tell me a better one. All the ones who have left, apart from bob, have failed.come back bob all is forgiven
I also loved them brown shoes.7 strand
10 December 2013 at 2:43 am #124622How long before Top Four Bob takes Everton there?
10 December 2013 at 4:54 am #124624I love this thread. I genuinely hope it runs and runs.
Oh shit, hold on, does that mean I inadvertantly want Bob to be successful??
10 December 2013 at 4:02 pm #124627I love this thread. I genuinely hope it runs and runs.Oh shit, hold on, does that mean I inadvertantly want Bob to be successful??
And why wouldn’t you?
Oh yeah, because he’s a Judas who dumped us and wrecked our football club.
I always thought you were better than that, just shows how wrong you can be.

:)
I’ve never called him a Judas and I’ve never said he wrecked our club Griff.
But as I have stated many times on here, on various threads, he left a very recent sour taste in the mouth. That has negatively impacted my opinion of him and he just cannot go completely unscathed for the mess we are in now. If I can’t hope that Bob fails in his current new endeavours and realise what he left behind, what other outlet do I have to express my disappointment?
I fully admire what he’s achieving at Everton, but it doesn’t mean I like it. Maybe once he’s inevitably earned his manager role at Utd or Arsenal and the sour taste is once removed (and I genuinely hope he does go to those heights) then I’ll wish him well.
10 December 2013 at 10:40 pm #124661Fook me, you contradicted yourself twice in one go there pal, well done.
I bet you are against live baiting yet use worms for bait.

11 December 2013 at 11:20 am #124682So he went to Utd and won. Big fkin deal. If the Barcodes can go to OT and win, anyone can. Whipping boys of the Prem Utd at the mo ;)And he then goes to the Emirates and draws – wow wee. Not like we never won there is it?
It’s not just what Everton did, it’s the way that they did it. In ten years under Moyes, Everton never won once at Man United, Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea. Martinez has done it the first attempt!
United hadn’t lost since the end of September. Played 12, won 7, drawn 5 in all competitions. Goals for 25, goals against 10. I don’t think that many people predicted that Everton would match them and go on to win.
Arsenal too were in good form, sitting four points clear at the top of the Premier League. Nobody expected Everton to have more possession than them and come away with a draw.
Roberto has got them playing beautiful football too. You can deny it you must, but you know that it’s true. Why not sit back and enjoy it?

They beat Utd at Old trafford that is correct but your other claims are pure poppy-cock ! Everton haven’t even been to Stamford Bridge and Anfield this season !
Like many have said before on the subject of RM, it is clear that the better players he now has under him can pull off the style that he tried here, the difference being that he only had a modicum of success here with said tactics and would not divert from his mindset when needed and that is why eventually he failed.Sometimes teams just have to roll up their sleeves and battle hard and ugly in order to survive ! Regardless of lack of funds or quality players, being relegated is still considered to be failure where managers are concerned and that is why so many get potted shortly after taking their teams down despite being in a similar state clubwise as we were !11 December 2013 at 3:59 pm #124691Regardless of lack of funds or quality players, being relegated is still considered to be failure where managers are concerned and that is why so many get potted shortly after taking their teams down despite being in a similar state clubwise as we were !That’s where Roberto is different – he’s gone on to greater things!
Poppycock? He’s already done something that Moyes never could – taken Everton to a victory at one of the Big Four. It’s actually the first time that Everton have won at Old Trafford since 1992!
If you enjoy watching good football, why not sit back and enjoy it? Or are you preparing for the part of Scrooge?
11 December 2013 at 4:57 pm #124695You’ll be checking shot, corner and booking tallies next.Just done a quick check on the first 4 pages of this thread and Barnsley you have posted 17 times and me 8{including 4 non-Martinez related posts]Oh dear. I think that just about proves who is obsessed with Martinez.

And I did in fact play Scrooge in the 6th form.
Humbug ;)
11 December 2013 at 8:23 pm #124705Humbug ;)Or even Everton Mints?

I said poppycock to your claim below ! Only the Utd bit is right. They drew with Arsenal away, drew with Liverpool at home and beat Chelsea at home. Your quote below suggests that they have beaten all 4 away !
