Out of interest is this debate ever likely to end at some point this season (which hasn’t even started yet), or will it continue until martinez leaves EFC to embark upon a new challenge.
Going by the amount of posts by Griff, Standish and Barnsley on this thread, they don’t appear to be about to stop posting about their hero just yet.
One thing for sure, Bob being at Everton has provided us with more entertainment and interest in the Premier League than he did when he was our manager.

I wouldn’t worry about that lad, they’ll have had very sheltered lives if they’ve not heard a fuck, twat or bastard by their 10th birthday.

You’re right HORC, Standish Mon had better not let his sprog watch any TV, use the internet, socialise with any other children, go to any football matches, read any daily rag newspapers, etc ! When my owd chap took me to the Latics at aged 10 he told me I would hear words that I should not use or repeat at home in front of my Mum. Maybe Standish has not grasped these first principles of teaching from the University of Life. And, if I was heard to swear by my parents; I got a crack over the back of the head before the reasoning discussion.
Anyway, hope Standish has taught his sprog the meaning of JUDAS.

My lads are currently seven and four, but I’ll ensure they see the bigger broader world in years to come through regular trips to Coppull etc.
Both kids go to a church school, so I expect the term Judas will be taught to them at some point – although I doubt it will be anything to do with a Spanish bloke moving on to a football club that’s not even a recognised rival.
But then again, we’re a funny lot in Wigan.

I, for one, am not posting on this thread because I have something to say about Martinez. It is the constant stream of shit and nonsense from the regular knobheads that motivates me to post on this thread. But I am thoroughly bored with it now.I’m not too worried about Roberto either – I’m sure that he can look after himself.
But I am provoked to respond when the comments get more extreme and the insults get more abusive.
The Bobsessives have never understood that I’m not defending Roberto. If I’m defending anything, it’s truth and common decency.
And now we’ve had more than a thousand replies! We’re just going over the same ground again and again. I’m happy to leave it there.
