A little distraction from our own predicament.
What did Mr Shearer say about Bobby on MOTD last night. No plan B & too late with substitutions. Well spotted Mr Shearer, we could have told you that a few seasons ago !
Europes finest doesn’t seem to have any plan at the moment ! Loving it !!!! :)
Perhaps hes lost his iPad, or then again it may be down to him having no plan B. Champions league is looking fekin miles away, but hey ho his team has had good possession again today. :P
jr, do you not get get tired of typing in “Champions League” in this thread? you have mentioned it once or twice. Would love to see your reaction if Everton win the Europa League
There will be no reaction from me if that happened. He’s quite good at winning silverware and performing miserably in the league, same season. B)

What a journey!28 December 2014 at 5:46 pm #137392Pretty sad.
More posts about Everton’s mediocre performances than about our team winning.

And once again you have contributed to this thread, cant keep yer nose out.
Perhaps its because Wigan have not played today and Everton have. That’s surely simple enough for you to understand.
PS. Just listening to Graham Souness and Gary Neville talking about Everton and they are bang on with their summing up.
“Trying to play from the back when they haven’t got the quality of players to do it”.
“Passing the ball around in the wrong areas of the field”.
“Conceding goals when all it needed to avoid it was a hoof up the field”.
Souness even said that Martinez would be alright playing those tactics if he was managing the likes of Barcelona, but not Everton and as we already know not Wigan.
16 points less than they had at this stage last season, perhaps BK will buy him a new iPad and give him another 3 years on his contract.
My money is on him to get tick tacked before the end of January.

I take it you have erased the events of May 2013 from your memory due to an acute attack of the hissy-fits?
Grow up you big Jessie.

Nope. All the posts I was talking were from yesterday and the day before.29 December 2014 at 4:09 am #137406Souness even said that Martinez would be alright playing those tactics if he was managing the likes of Barcelona, but not Everton and as we already know not Wigan.

I did point out that he won us silverware, read it again you big numpty. My problem is he also got us fekin relegated, then dumped us.
Must admit, I don’t give one shiny shyte what anyone on here thinks, I’m wallowing in his current predicament and the dross he poured out in his post match interview, was bordering on embarrassing. He just says a load of words that sound good but don’t make sense in the order he pukes it.
Oh and by the way I forgot to mention the “Champions League” for one interested poster. :P

29 December 2014 at 1:02 pm #137412Perhaps its because Wigan have not played today and Everton have. That’s surely simple enough for you to understand. As SW says, most of these comments were from the day of the Leeds game.
Interesting to note that our sporadic posting friend, the 10-watt Torch, had nothing to say about our fine 2-0 win at Leeds.
Thus proving SW’s point, really.
29 December 2014 at 2:32 pm #137413Roberto won us the cup and he also got us relegated. If we had played our usual boring league football we may not have won the cup and if we had played the more cavalier style of football we did in winning the cup we may have stayed up. Its all ifs though. Meanwhile we have a relegation spot to climb out of on Tuesday and all our efforts as fans should be focusing on that.
Let us see if we keep a winning side and formation. May not as Wednesday have a different style to Leeds and hav’nt lost a lot of games.29 December 2014 at 2:33 pm #1374145 ex Latics players in the Team Today.Noticed that myself.

Not really Griff to be fair. As i’ve said before on this thread & others, had he kept us up then decided to leave – thats fine in my book. Had he stayed for 1 season in the championship & decided he had taken us as far as he could – that is also fine by me.
Sorry Griff, but i have to agree with JR on this one.29 December 2014 at 2:41 pm #137416Roberto won us the cup and he also got us relegated. So which would you have had surely you are not saying Premier league football against the greatest moment in the clubs history the very fact we stayed eight years in the Prem is an fooking mirackel despite who ever was the manager
