27 January 2016 at 2:39 am #146850“Wednesday is going to be the biggest game in Martinez.s career” Really?
27 January 2016 at 1:06 pm #146851The problem is that Evertonians seem to think that this is the 80s and that they’re a big club who should be in the top four every year. Problem is that whilst they may be able to beat the teams like City, Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea, Utd and even Liverpool now and again they can’t do it consistently because realistically they are poles apart.
Bobby made a cock up saying he would get them into the CL but what is a new Manager supposed to say in his press conference “Well lads if we’re honest you’re all pretty deluded if you think anyone can get you into the top four every year so basically all I can do is get you a few wins over the big sides and the odd European push, but it will be mostly mid-table shite because that is the club you are whether you deluded idiots like it or not.” Hardly win the fans over that will it?
I think they’ll go through tonight and if he beats Liverpool at Wembley then he’ll be a hero such is the fickle mind of the football fan. Being scouse just makes it worse.

Everton must be the most “hard done to” team in the land ! Well, according to Bobby, anyway.30 January 2016 at 1:49 am #146913Would have been completely different if the ball had been on the other foot. I’m so happy for him.

End of the season I reckon; he’ll be off to Spain in some tippy tappy league.
Filmoss: go put a tenneer on it now !6 March 2016 at 7:56 pm #147540& his promise of champions league football at the start of his appointment could either be seen as a joke, utter stupidity or delusional.
7 March 2016 at 3:20 am #147543I suppose you could say that he has achieved something at Everton to date, that he couldn’t do at Wigan……….Keep um in the PL.
