He was admitidly one of the best of a bad bunch last year but man alive his form was well below the standard needed for survival. Good move Latics, cash in and also reduce the wage bill. Not really. Explain?
In fact, don’t bother

Just don’t get not keeping Boyce but signing these 2 unless we’re paying them in magic beans.

All depends on the deals. We offered Boycie a deal but he chose to reject it.

Boyce has gone to Blackpool for the same contract he was offered here I’m led to believe so he wanted away

This makes no sense. Really how do you know the terms and length of any contract offer from Blackpool?
As I understand it he is still on trial at Blackpool. What I do know is that McNaughton was training with Blackpool and then headed over to us. Boyce came in on trial after this.

Just sounds like one of those bullshit rumours you get which starts close to the club in an effort to appease some of the fans who thought him hard done to. Personally I would think a club great, club captain, club and charity ambassador would choose a pay as you play here over Blackpool, if they were the offers available but as doglatic says, my understanding is that he is training with Blackpool.
I would hope the 2 latest old timers will have only been offered a pay as you play and are happy to accept it.

The point is Dog, we didn’t release Boycie he himself chose not to accept the offer the club made him. From a playing point I like you would think being here rather than Blackpool should be the best option so he must have his own reasons for leaving.
5 August 2015 at 11:57 pm #143745Murray from Watford. Who the frig is that?? and why a loanee from bloody Watford?? Bet he is minted!
