Well he started Antonee Robinson last season, Reece obviously, Dujon Sterling this season and the kid last week from Everton. Christian Walton for 2 seasons. As well as MacLeod and Williams this season when fit who are both under 25.
He hasn’t picked Joffy though so he’s an idiot.
None of which or are or were our homegrown players Stu.[/quote]
Theres no explaining with him, he see’s things covered in candy floss and rose petals. Been disgruntled at the way were playing is not in his genetic makeup. He sits, smiles, and claps away.
StuPot even thought us signing a deal with:-
“Clayton Park Bakery” was another Chelsea superstar

19 January 2020 at 2:23 am #184170Two weeks in a row now Cook has said in public that we lack quality and yet there are no incomings and no genuine discussion about incomings. Worrying?

20 January 2020 at 1:03 am #184189Interested in Nakhi Wells according to reports.Read the same thing but it just doesn’t sound likely?
How much is he on in terms of wages, let alone what he’d cost in terms of a transfer fee.
Also whilst he’s only on loan with QPR he’s getting picked and scoring, do you think he’d fancy a permanent move here, given our position and the likely prospect of 3rd tier football next season ?
31 January 2020 at 6:32 pm #184523Heard last night that Wednesday very keen on Windass so thought that a deal to broker Rhodes to us might come off. Apparently that is now a possibility. Question is why Cook put so much faith in Windass over the Christmas period even playing no recognised striker and now happy to offload . Clash of personality maybe??

Rumours going around that windass is a bit of a bad apple.

Question is why Cook put so much faith in Windass over the Christmas period even playing no recognised striker and now happy to offload . Clash of personality maybe??I think Cooks thinking is, Rhodes will be better at tucking away our missed chances as opposed to Windass and on that note I have to agree but that’s all depending if Rhodes can be arsed or not.
It’s ok this club “in talks” and “negotiating a deal”. If the player isn’t up for it or doesn’t want and his head isn’t in the right place then it will only be a bad move for both parties.
He’s out of contract in the summer and I’m pretty sure his agent knows were he’s going so how will a loan move now for Rhodes be beneficial to the player ?.He could easily sit it out at Sheff Weds on top dollar nice holiday then back on top money and more than we can afford.
Also, Rhodes has 6 month left, Windass has 18 months left. How does a swap deal work there unless it’s a 2 way loan move till the summer.
More worrying is our back line now Robinson’s. That only player with pace gone. Dunkley Kipre Naismith Bryne. I seriously doubt combo will stop us conceding. We’ll just have to concede 2 the Rhodes score a hat trickEvery week
31 January 2020 at 8:22 pm #184526Jordan Rhodes played 159 games for Blackburn and notched 83 times; not a bad ratio.
However, all the Rovers fans that I work with say he’s a lazy player (and that’s before he was linked with the Latics) and they don’t really miss him.
I hope my fears are disproved and he joins the Latics and becomes our saviour :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:31 January 2020 at 9:43 pm #184527Robinson move fallen apart apparently

Newsnow! Fek me that site is a load of bollocks. I have seen the tweet from the Italian who could be the biggest Inter fan to ever walk the planet. Why is it not been on SSN, they have had a reporter traveling with Robinsons enterage all day.
Hope for the lads sake its just newsnow bullshit. From Matlock to ManU
