No doubt he’s on good brass at wigan so why would you want to leave when you’ve European football on the table ,,,unlike Everton or Liverpool and probably bench warming.
12 June 2013 at 2:05 am #115873If he’s on 25 a week at wigan, he’ll get 50 if he moves, more to the point it will give DW his yearly big sale and subsequent transfer kitty, all the clues are there, it happens every single summer, and relegation only makes it more likely than before.
And don’t be thinking that the main players will be playing Europa, not happening, there’ll be more important things to think about.

Lee Nicholls will be a Europa League sensation. You heard it here first…

The Everton selling their training ground story wasn’t exactly a scoop. It was confirmed yesterday in the Liverpool papers and websites. Sold to the council for £12, and Everton rent it back off them.12 June 2013 at 1:08 pm #115885They’ve sold it to the council for 12 million to fund a deal for McCarthy :)
I heard there now renting it back from Liverpool council for a daft amount of years.
I’ve got a gut feeling those Councillors are blue not red :)

12 June 2013 at 8:03 pm #115911He’ll end up with shitloads to spend if fellaini goes, how he’ll adjust to that I just don’t know. Sometimes I’ll be a bit skint for a few weeks until I get paid off a job, I’ll have to be very careful with my money or I’d end up in the shit cashflow wise. Then I’ll get a nice big wedge and buy shit that I don’t really need, like the same trainers in 2 different colours, I wonder if bob will be like that?

The council could be giving them a very generously discounted rent, maybe picking up the rates bill themselves, all kinds of ‘incentives’ are possible/probable. Just look at the way some continental teams are funded.

Even so, for a club of their supposed stature, it amounts to little more than coppering up when the window cleaner turns up.
