Perhaps Uncle Dave will see that he rots in the reserves like he once said about someone else who’s name fails me at this present juncture !

Funny, I was thinking about Chimpbonda when I was writing my post. Eould have loved to have seen DW (for a rare moment) stay true to his words – unlike Kone’s alleged comments, old Chimmy really did do the dirty on us and DW still “caved” for just £4m.
He can’t hold us to any kind of ransom though that’s the beauty of this situation. The price is the price and no matter how many stories about other clubs him and his agents fabricate, The sad fact for him is that if someone doesn’t stump up 6.5m for a striker from a relegated side he aint going nowhere. There are many strikers around who can cut it in this league. There is one player i desperately want us to go in for. One Billy Sharp

“Kone is a terrific player and I think the whole world is aware he has a clause in his contract,” Coyle told the Evening Post.
“If that’s met it would probably mean business would have to be done.
“But there has been nothing yet which has triggered that so we will have to wait and see what the news on that will be.”
