No longer letting people on waiting list !
…it just gets better
That suggests we are a lot of tickets short of what we need
How exactly do you “prove” travel details if you rang up for a ticket?
“Proof” of travel details to me means handing over an invoice with your details on it! Which is what I had in my hand yesterday. Which was not asked for to put me on the waiting list.
So I’m on the waiting list without proving travel, presume others will be as well.
Bottom line in this debacle is the club totally underestimated the demand for tickets and did not put measures in place to reflect that.[/quote]
The tickets could have been reserved pending receipt of travel details which could easily be provided by e-mail, fax or in person within a (for example) 2 week time frame
With underestimating demand, it would appear so!!16 October 2013 at 5:15 pm #122335Just seen this from club…

16 October 2013 at 5:38 pm #122338Why can’t you buy a VIP ticket on its own, without the extra expense of club travel unless the club are subsidising their own travel?
16 October 2013 at 6:00 pm #122340150 tickets featuring in the club’s trip are over and above the allocation. These tickets are VIP tickets – ie. on the ‘long side’ sitting club oficials, the directors, the sponsors etc.
I very much doubt they’d want to put these tickets up for general sale – otherwise they could conceivably end up with the flare chuckers sitting a couple of rows behind Whelan.
funny that , or in the case of some of us older elements,,, flair wearers :)
16 October 2013 at 6:08 pm #122341but doesn’t it stink that , EUFA make the clubs only give 5% of their capacity to away fans ?.
it should be a minimum of 10-15% then, if you don’t want them give em back. It’s a good job Zulte Waregem had the game moved. If we had of played it at their ground we would have got 510 tickets :S .

18 October 2013 at 1:51 am #122380Maribor fan told me they where formed on 12 December so this is a important game and should sell out .Sorry but I really don’t understand this.
They were formed on 12 December (1960 I discover by Googling), so to celebrate their 53rd birthday they will sell out?
Do we pack out the DW Stadium on 9 May wearing party hats and carrying balloons? Does Dave Whelan provide free jellies and trifles?
I think your Maribor informant is having you on.

Wasn’t really something you had to worry about understanding . I just asked on there facebook page how many fans the expected to turn up for the game and that was answer he gave . As for the 9th of May we would not fill the DW if it was free tickets .

Your comments aren’t even a trifle amusing
18 October 2013 at 1:25 pm #122394It’s a crap competition anyway, it’s not like we are going to come across the winner of the Balloon d’Or !
