Thank you for reinforcing my point with regards to the flags. World Cup fever means there will be bandwagon jumpers, hence why, as I clearly said in my previous post, the pubs are full of people who would not usually watch football.
In my original post regarding the flags, I stated that a similar display of national pride does not occur during the RL World Cup, so again, it’s down to a lot of people jumping on the football bandwagon in a town where they are apparently not interested in football.
As much as I don’t know your personal circumstances, you also do not know my motives for posting, however, I do admire your self confidence if you do not consider yourself to be one of the masses. Perhaps you are more aloof, as I clearly do not impress you.
In closing, if you are trying to insult someone, at least learn how to the spell the words correctly before you post them eh? (The word is ‘Vain’)
