rp attention seeking??? grow up will ya. Best interests of the club at heart I believe so, however much you like Bob as a person his 3 season plan has failed terribly. Every season the team has got worse and we are going to get relegated because were crap not because of the referee or being unlucky and all that bollocks. IMO he is the worst manager we have ever had and that includes Kenny Swain who had no money and no chance. Bob spent £6.3m on a striker who has spent 2 seasons since signing on loan and we can’t score goals WTF.

Got to agree with that man 100%, Can anyone who has watched us over the past 2 1/2 years, honestly say that they have enjoyed watching Bob’s “ATTRACTIVE ATTACKING STYLE of FOOTBALL”???

Although I may be an outsider in your pathetic lightside/darkside mind games, it seems to me in this case that you are the one “seeking attention”
Get a grip for christs sake, they are fans debating and criticising how the club they support is being run, now I may be wrong but isn’t/wasn’t the whole ethos of ‘fanzines’ and why they came into exsistance in the first place to offer a fans opinion on their football club that is not the official club view. If the ‘lightside’ want to except the status quo and every everything is hunky dory line, why dont you just post on the official site telling the club, Mr Whelan, Bob and the players “keep up the good work boys we still think everything you do is spot on. ”
What I do know is Martinez has divided supporters of Wigan Athletic like I have never seen before, the ‘darkside’ spend their time slagging Martinez and the ‘lightside’ spend their time slagging the darkside and tend not to offer any constructive argument to counter the ‘darkside’ opinions, so why notuse this Fanzine Message Board how it is supposed to be and point out to the likes of Hindley,LMB or other doubters why you are right instead of starting stupid, pointless, threads like this one.
I would dispute the idea that the lightside offer nothing constructive.Think you have that the wrong way round.I would say that the lightside are 100% constructive & the darkside are destructive most of the time. The lightside mantra seems to involve supporting the team & supporting the manager,how can this not be constructive ? This is what football fans are supposed to do isnt it ?
I fail to see anything remotely constructive about continually slagging off a managers every move and decision, calling him a clueless clown & generally kicking up the same old stink day after day,hour after hour. How on earth is that constructive?

As supporters we are all equal & entitled to our opinion. But the darkside by token of their continual criticism aim their criticism of the manager & seem to think they are far more qualified to run a football club than he is despite their lack of qualifications,professional experience of playing & managing a football club.

i must admit i’m a fan of Roberto i always have been, but latley i’m finding his decisions baffling, his formations and subs are terrible and his lack of activity in the transfer window especialy.

what i dont agree with is the constant moaning and booing at games afterall its now they need us

I don’t really class my self as either dark or light, but it is very hard to argue with the darksiders as what I have seen this last couple of years is shite.
There has been nothing constructive from the lightside except for the rallying of the troups, which hasn’t worked as more and more are just becoming disillusioned.
The darkside do offer constructive criticism but who from the club reads this website, or even cares what the fans think anyway.
I don’t think anything will change though mainly because Mr Whelan and Bob don’t appear to think they are doing anything wrong.

If prove positive was ever needed to what I wrote you have proved every negative point I made about the ‘lightside’ in your response,

100 games and getting worse by the day.Certain posters talk of this utopian view of dropping through divisions but cultivating a team full of local talent and getting back to being the real Wigan.What do they smoke.I dream of arriving home from work to find Angelina Jolie kitted out from La Senza ,washing my Veyron.Live in the real world please ,Prem money keeps us afloat ,lose that and it becomes far more difficult to achieve a modicum of success.Robbie has been a train wreck plain and simple ,but we will have a reasonable financial profile in championship.I mean we wont need any money there because all the players turn out for free dont they ?

The difference is the DS never change their tune and are always the first to make negative comments for other people, mainly the LS to challenge.
Even though I support Martinez and what he is trying to achieve to the hilt, I do not wish to come on here day after day starting threads about how well he’s doing and everyone should get behind him.
The DS however are playing the same old record day after fekin day and nobody who matters is listening.
I still say that there should be a dedicated thread for the DS to spit out their blurb and if any of the LS want to engage with them, then its up to them.
What we have now is the odd sensible debate cropping up only to be high jacked by someone having a go at Martinez and Whelan and suddenly its DS v LS again.
I don’t know what I’m dreading the most a Bolton victory, or the usual fekin suspects coming on here with their Victor Meldrew like rants within a minute of the final whistle. B)From Matlock to ManU
