Blind devotion …how touching !
7 February 2012 at 3:12 am #80742The DS however are playing the same old record day after fekin day and nobody who matters is listening
One of my rare post’s the other day mentioned exactly the same thing. mate.
Blah, blah, fckin blah.
and some cants on here call fishing boring.
7 February 2012 at 3:49 am #80750100 games and getting worse by the day.Certain posters talk of this utopian view of dropping through divisions but cultivating a team full of local talent and getting back to being the real Wigan. What do they smoke.I dream of arriving home from work to find Angelina Jolie kitted out from La Senza ,washing my Veyron.Live in the real world please ,Prem money keeps us afloat ,lose that and it becomes far more difficult to achieve a modicum of success.Robbie has been a train wreck plain and simple ,but we will have a reasonable financial profile in championship.I mean we wont need any money there because all the players turn out for free dont they ?Brownbill, there’s nothing Utopian about producing local talent to play for the club, and it’s not about being the real Wigan – it’s a necessity, and something other clubs do and always have done.
No, we cannot continue to pay the big wages despite parachute payments, and that’s why we need to start producing our own footballer and not relying on cast offs from bigger clubs.

please keep up son.I’m just trying to prove I know nowt about fishing and want to keep it that way am I doing alright?.
The last time I went fishing was at the D & C on the windmill field at Haigh when I was about 12. I had a spanking new 9 foot fibre glass rod with a top of the range reel. I and about 10 others caught about 6 small perch between us.
Roy “tog” Jolly on the other hand skieved some magots, line and a hook from us and fished about 18 inches from the side of the bank with his line attached to a 3 foot branch. He pulled out a massive tench nearly as big as us. I get the feeling when walking past the fishermen these days nothings changed. All the keenies with all the gear get fek aw whilst the George Roper lookalike with his man made rod, biscuit tin full of bits and bobs, fills his keep net in a couple of hours. :ohmy:From Matlock to ManU

nah, just that some people annoy me………….sometimes.
7 February 2012 at 1:05 pm #80767Your post bears no resemblence whatsoever to mine,it is purely an exercise in name calling because you cannot accept my point of view.
It’s not about who’s right or who is better – I am simply putting forward an opinion as to what is better for Wigan Athletic.
To keep it simple so that you dont end up going completely off track, I’ll just ask you one question:
What constructive benefit do Wigan Athletic get from people like you coming on here and continually slagging the manager off?
About the same benefit as we get from you sticking up for him.[/quote]
I am not a frequent poster on here. Like many others, I was a regular at one stage but got tired of reading the same old drivel day after day from bedroom football managers seeking to discredit Wigan Athletic at very turn.I don’t stick up for him, I stick up for the club.If he’s sacked tomorrow I’ll back the next man. You’ll probably still be moaning if there’s no improvement.I didnt get into watching Wigan Athletic to demand success, I got into them because they are my local team & they need my support.
I am a mere fan of 30+ years who supports his team. I do not pretend to know what goes on behind closed doors or start crackpot theories about our “clueless clown” of a manager. I very much doubt he has time to read this website but if he does then do you really think he looks & thinks “you know what they’ve got a point there, maybe i should play 442 or make a different substitution, all those coaching badges, all those years playing professional football & clearly i know nothing compared to the many experts on cockney latic who spend all day calling me a clown or a spanish waiter & have an in depth knowledge of tactics, how football transfers work, training regimes & contract negotiations.”
Have you any idea how ridiculous you look?
What is the point in it all? It benefits noone, it’s waste of effort, unless youre getting some kind of inner smugness from it as the opening poster implies & are attention seeking ‘ooh look at me i was right all along’ & revelling in the demise of Wigan Athletic.

Fooking ‘ell Scholes, I can see the villagers lighting torches, gathering their pitch forks and marching up the hill with a noose…Good post incidentally.
