Has anyone heard any info on when the application packs/renewals are likely to be out.
7 May 2017 at 10:00 pm #158740Sharpie’s probably trying to work out whether he can do a Bradford-style ST offer in the hope of maintaining the support.
Any price rise will result in about 20% not renewing.
7 May 2017 at 10:35 pm #158745Anything up to the £250 mark would be acceptable, but I think we might be looking at renewals being similar to this year.
I think new incentives should be looked at, perhaps a 5 or 10 game ticket for the floaters and those that can’t go every week and find on the day prices too expensive.
We should certainly be looking at cutting pay on the day prices as that has put loads off recently.7 May 2017 at 10:49 pm #158748Anything up to the £250 mark would be acceptable, but I think we might be looking at renewals being similar to this year.

ST prices are tricky. My immediate reaction would be they need to freeze the prices given relegation. But this season’s tickets were very cheap at £179 renewal. Probably get away with £199 renewal but into the £200’s I agree there could be a substantial reduction in renewals (I’ll be there of course ;) )
7 May 2017 at 11:21 pm #158754If Sharpie is reading; how about this: on ordering our season tickets by debit or credit card, the club only debit our respective cards after each home win, over the course of the season. Oh, I forgot to mention: all cup ties at home are FOC.

7 May 2017 at 11:54 pm #158774The club just need to freeze the prices again…do a repeat of last summer and have a deadline of something like July 25th for the lower price, before there’s the increase. I think this would be fair enough.
Any increase in the slightest after relegation will be a suicidal move. It would also be wrong.
The only other thing they could do would be a half season ticket from August onwards, up until Christmas and then the option of paying to add on the second half again. However this could be a bad move as a lot of ticket income would be lost, at least initially.
8 May 2017 at 12:27 am #158778Oh, I forgot to mention: all cup ties at home are FOC.Not possible. FA Rules split the takings between the clubs with set minimum prices. We would end up losing money with what we would have to pay the opponents.

Do you sit in the west stand, cos that looked thin from the east stand.
8 May 2017 at 12:58 am #158788Its the kids we need to target lets have Wigan kids wearing Latics kits and going to games not scum and bindipper fans.

All three home stands looked thin today, it’s a good job season ticket sales are added to the attendance as I doubt there were no more than 11 or twelve thousand in the Stadium today,
8 May 2017 at 1:02 am #158790I think they will definitely go up no parachute payment now so the club cannot keep the price down like they did this Season if they can keep it below £270 £12 a game I think that would be fine but not everyone will agree
8 May 2017 at 1:07 am #158792This season was a one off, I expect the dearest to be around £250 next season and I’ll take that. :cheer:
