Gets my goat up this all these fans now out of the woodwork for a bit of glory where were you all at our away games this season and home for that matter were you ate Bournemouth no thought not well at least I will a true fan at wembley like some of our faithful followers and not the jscll
Ah yes, but where were you when we were shit?
I can almost guarantee you weren’t at The Hawthorns in ’93 when we got beat 5-1 in our relegation season. There were 50 Latics fans there, if that.

If Arky was there, then yes he was….
I was in that 50 and i claim my reward! Jimmy Carberry opened the scoring early on as we took the lead. Went everywhere that season and there was pretty much always more than 50 as the Latics Liner was always full so that was 45 (if you count Brian Sabin et al as paying supporters that is).

. Without wanting to sound pedantic, I recall our goal was scored by Gary Worthington, early on as you say. Seem to recall Bob Taylor scoring a couple for them, and Kevin Donovan also scoring. We wore red shirts, blue shorts and socks. EDIT I could be getting scorer mixed up with a previous game there that finished 1-1 when Worthington scored.
why you all arguing on who has been where and how many times what does it matter as long as when you go you get behind the team and sing your heart out ?
I was at the meeting in 1932 to create a new team in Wigan called Wigan Athletic. Prior to that I was a ST holder at Wigan Borough and watched them home and away and once washed the kit in the Dougy.
