or saving your money in the hope we get to Wembley in 3 weeks, some will have obviously chose the latter.
Yet Latics fans got & still get stick because they didn’t fill the stadium for their Semi Final with Arsenal, a TWO legged Semi-Final at that.
Before Mutty starts there is a HUGE difference between Latics v Arsenal & W.W. v Snellens.7 August 2011 at 10:42 pm #69646Anonymous
And what is “usual”? Would you care to put a figure on that? Give me an idea of what you would consider to be an acceptable crowd figure for that game.More than your 13k you lot have got for the past 3 super dooper matches played at dave whelans stadium.
If ya can’t fill it when your champions, your sport is in serious trouble. rugby = the past……….football = the future. :happy-partydance:

Meanwhile, whilst logging onto the Latics buy tickets page, I had a choice of 8014 different seats for the QPR game out of the 17355 seats that were available for sitting on.
16 August 2011 at 11:07 pm #70138I suppose there are sadder things you could do. But I can’t think of one.

As the match report will be on the same page in the national sunday papers as speedway and an advert for a dating agency……………..oh yeah forgot….sportword too. :shhh: :shhh: :shhh:
Better order the yorkshire evening gazette or pitmans weekly

World’s most popular sport – Yes
World’s most popular league – Yes
World’s most popular/famous team – No…although doesn’t Wigan RL lay claim to that title in it’s sport? Yet only 13k fans turn up.Pot. Kettle. Black. Calling.

One should check your own website before posting on here
I was only joking but it looks like I was right as my mate who works for Heinz has informed me that the North Stand will be full (ish) of freebies from local businesses

What is???

Replying within 12 minutes of my post is pretty sad.
Got yer QPR ticket yet?
You’re right Mutty, I shouldn’t spend all my time waiting for you to post. Especially as you go missing for days on end when you can’t find any answers to what people have put to you. I’d better go and get myself a life.
And yes, I have my QPR ticket thanks. Like I have a ticket for all our games this season and the last god knows how many seasons.
Congratulations on selling 20000 tickets for Wembley. Maybe when the day comes you’ll equal the 27000 tickets we sold for Cardiff. The big difference is we don’t claim to have that many fans. Thousands came out of the woodwork. Just like they are now. If I remember rightly your last 3 home attendances have been just over 13000. That is a more reliable and accurate figure. Both teams have around the same level of support so don’t try to big yours up and put ours down.
Finally just a couple more questions. Why is Wembley turning Cherry and White? Haven’t Leeds sold any tickets, and since when did Wigan play in Cherry and White. They play in pink for pity’s sake. They haven’t played in Cherry and White since the 60’s.
Oh and by the way. Did you notice the memory lane type feature they do in the WEP every Tuesday. Well today featured January 1988. And the featured Latics match was a 3-1 win v Walsall when Stan McEwan scored. Remember Stan McEwan, Mutty? The player that Latics fans chipped in to pay his wages. But at least one phoney didn’t. Isn’t that right Mutty?

There will be more people supporting leeds trust me. Tickets have been on sale all year and it still hasn’t officially sold out. Lots of neutrals there will support leeds, thats 45k neutrals + 20k leeds fans :scared-eek:
Good luck mutty, take your rattle and megaphone with them daz ULTRAS
