Meanwhile, whilst logging onto the Latics buy tickets page, I had a choice of 8014 different seats for the QPR game out of the 17355 seats that were available for sitting on.
Meanwhile while channel hopping I noticed 14000 empty seats at Bratfort game toneet surely the ground should be full for the Super wiggin team that conquars all before it
I’m sure you’d have also noticed that 5300 of those empty seats were in the North Stand, where the Bradford fans appeared to have taken your lead in pathetic travelling support.
However, on the bright side, 13600 home fans showed up, despite it being on TV. Thats more home fans than showed up for the “big” game last Saturday, and more home fans than will show up for the “big” game next Saturday, neither of which were on live TV in the Uk.
Now, best you get off to Swansea sonny boy, or have you got an excuse for not being there.

But its a rugby town  and this is one of your best seasons for years and still only approx 13500 turn up. not gud really
1000 Latics fans going to Swansea today, McGoon. It would knock your away support into a cocked-hat, if ever you had to travel that far on anything like a regular basis.

Now there are only 2553 available. I thought initially that a huge tidal wave of football-loving Wiganers had finally swept their way towards the DW ticket office.
Then I read this which kind of explains it really:
Of course if its all lies by the chubbies, there are currently only 294 seats available in the south stand – so I’d expect to see a packed south stand on MOTD.

Worriors bigeest game in years and they still talk about the tics along with moaning about shops in Wigan Town center not backing the greatest club on earth alledgedly
:crying-yellow: :crying-yellow:
There are a couple of things I find really curious about all this.
Firstly why is it, than when Latics hand out free tickets to boost what is expected to be a lower than usual attendance, it is ridiculed by the Pink and Whites, yet when they hand over a whole stand free it’s classed as good PR.
Secondly why, when they have reached Wembley, are they interested in a Wigan Athletic match. Especially when they continually claim that they aren’t bothered by us or about us?
Sorry – I didnt realise Latics had sold an entire stand to a Coroprate sponsor who was then free to distribute them to their employee. Wigan Warriors have successfully sold the entire North Stand to both Heinz and Worthingtons. Maybe they sold it at a fiver a ticket, maybe a quid a ticket, but rest assured it was sold to those companies.
As these Latics freebies are being distributed through the NHS, I’d be pretty amazed if the Wigan & District Health Authority had bought 5,000 tickets for the South Stand, even at a reduced price, as the Govt would have their balls on a plate for spending like that!
As for your second point – its because we can always spare a few moments to think about the other side in Wigan, particularly when they have such threads as “Good Luck Leeds” running.
Looking forward to seeing a packed DW on Saturday on MOTD – with only 2500 tickets available, it should be a 20,000+ crowd!
I don’t know about Worthington’s, but I can assure you that HJ’s didn’t pay a penny for any seats in the North Stand. And even if they had, the fact remains that over 5000 seats were occupied by people that hadn’t paid to sit in them, ergo an attendance figure that was grossly inflated by spectators that more than likely wouldn’t have been there otherwise.
And as for your reply to the 2nd point. I think it’s more of a case that your first love is always a special one. Your shifting loyalties have proved you to be a fickle so and so, but we are actually still there, giving you that strange butterfly feeling. And it will always be so. We are under your skin, always will be and it grates with you to realise that, hence the lashing out, like a woman scorned.

WHY would an yorkshire egg chaser be more interested in watching MOTD, When his/her club are playing the biggest game in their yorkshire league history??????
Rugby union much bigger than yorkshire league. Good luck trying to fill wembley tomorrow and for your autumn test match with the ozzies…..
