Years ago, there was a kid’s programme called the Tomorrow People about kids with supernatural powers. In one episode, they world was divided into two groups of people who set about trying to kill each other. Which group you were in was determined on a purely arbitrary basis; you were either blue or green, simple as that.
I think the posters on this forum can similarly be grouped into colours. Here’s my stab at groupings.
Blue and White group – generally positive, supportive of what the club is trying to do but realistic about the club’s ambitions. Display a higher level of intelligence than other groups. Sarcastic. Members include Griff, Zeniamon, Thirtytwoyears, StandishWalker, MikcyC, Edinburgh_Latic, Jimmy Cornflake, Jrfatfan, Squire Manny Brown, Bath_Latic.
Black group – the dark side. Critical of everything the club does, though sometimes their views are expressed in a reasonable manner. Like Betamax to DVD, almost impossible to convert. Key members are Loudmouthblue, Natdan, Filmoss, Ticslad, BickyMon.
Grey group – fence-sitters, or flit from view to view. Not necessarily bad, but not easily pigeon-holed. Members are VAT69, TyldesleyLatic, Galactic, Bob On The Moon.
Green – inexperienced, more naive specimens, likely to be targeted by all other groups – please! Junior members include Alex_Wigan, Duke, JamesC and that bloke with Wigan, Latics and 88 or something similar in his user name.
Sky Blue with pink spots – chameleon type characters, difficult to pinpoint their true identity. Not really worth bothering with. Member is JohnArkwright, Mr Bush, Newpremboy, AlanSmith, Mr Logic ;)
Feel free to question your assignment or, if you are not listed, apply for a group membership.
I think Administrators must be like the modern-day version of the Tomorrow People – far, far above this kind of thing, righters of wrongs and not prone to joining silly coloured groups. Right? ;)
And you have the neck to pull me up for remembering something from a couple of seasons ago !! And besides only geeks watched the likes of The Tomorrow People while eagerly doing their homework !!
Sorry Griff, but I’m as intelligent as ANYBODY on this board.
Didn’t take umbridge at the ‘Lee Hughes’ jibe, did we?
I can be sarcastic or as humourous as ANYONE. However sometimes it’s that ‘dark’, people don’t see, or get it. ;)
I tend to say what I see. At the moment, I’m kind of neither negative, or positive about things. Typical Latics. Not many rumours, and snags in deals we have been linked with. Get’s a bit ‘old’ after a few years of it.
However come back to me on Monday night when we’ve sold Scharner for 2 million (“good business, coz his contract was up”) Rodallega for 4 million (“We were always struggling to hold on to him”), Figueroa for 5 million to Sunderland (“It’s a big move for the lad, and he wanted to go”)-no, he was tapped up, you mean……and replaced them with Leon Britton, Michael Ball, Ettienne Verveer, or whoever, and I can guarantee now that I will be screaming all things negative. :)

I can remember hundreds of programmes I used to watch.
You can only remember one of your “jokes” that people laughed at :?

Hence, you’re in the grey group. Can’t make your f***** mind up ;) [/quote]
Please sir, do I have to be in the grey group too? I’d rather not, can I be blue?
I’m extremely disappointed and chuffed here Griff.
Chuffed for mentioning me in a select group(even though ” I’m not worth bothering with”.
Dissapointed because you have not included Fred Elliot, Faceacher, Pulp, Orrell Blonde, Arky and from way back, Bill Wymans Armpit, in your Sky Blues list. There is also another current character who dererves a mention here, or maybe he already has. ;)
Maybe some of these characters were before your time eh lad.You know, when CL was fun and we were all mates.
