Wow! All because of a one-liner from The Sun this morning. I wish I’d known how easy it was to wind folk up on here. I think I’ll become a multi. Watch out Arky, I’m coming for yer :)

No, you didn’t wind me up. Not at all. I am quite happy to have sensible discussions with ANYBODY. But when someone suggests signing Beattie as part of a swap deal for Rodallega is good, I’m sorry, but I just can’t accept that, at all.
I’ll be GLAD to get away from here……..as it seems most of our players are.
The age old question- “Does Wigan deserve a Premiership Football Team?”
The answer? No. Not in a million years. The people are deluded, and really don’t have any idea what is good, or terrible, in football. The people who DO show an interest in latics, and it’s not all, but a fair ammount of them, obviously have NO IDEA about the game. Very good at coming out with snidey comments and hiding behind a messageboard (not aimed at anybody specifically), and also at attempting to find just reason for the things the club do, even getting techinical in the process..
But when it comes down to actual football knowledge of what is good and what is terrible…….bloody hell!!! It’s shocking. (James Beattie? FFS!!!)
Wiganers, DO NOT DESERVE a Premiership football team. Not with the mentality they have. No way.Perhaps it’s just the way people ‘come down’ round Wigan. Poor to support….quick to mock and find fault, etc.

Dave, at the point where you first went postal, only Pskl had said it wasn’t such a bad idea. Since then, a quick trawl of the board throws up Alex_wigan as the only other one to support this move, if it were ever to happen.
Everybody else actually agrees with you, but aren’t getting quite so apoplectic about it.
Can’t wait for The Sun tomorrow. I hope they link us with Jason Lee. I’ll get all day out of that one.
let me explain, last season martinez never played rodney in the right position, and when he did he scored, martinez as just bought another striker which i will predict up front on his own, so that puts rodney on the wing again, which he wont be happy with, nor will we, so we let him go and get 7 mill plus a player who could come of the bench and hurt a team un like scotland, that would leave us with 7 mill to had to a defence which is weak and maybe a midfielder, and that if its true, by the way i would hate to see rodney go but what can we do, lets not get upset about it, jesus people were getting upset because nike wasnt doing the kit.

Here’s a bit fi new for you folks…..Stoke play a friendly on Saturday at Albion Rovers in Newport (Pulis’ hometown, and a club he has family connections with). The Stoke team consists of mainly youth team players, but Beattie and Kitson will be turning out for them.
Do you think that sends a bit of a message out to those two players? I’m sure transfer forms have already been prepared.
Beattie is only playing reserve team football for Stoke because of his ‘head to head’ with Pulis, and due to the fact he is refusing to move on as a matter of principle. Even though I’m not a great fan of him, he could still do a decent job for a lot of teams.
Both Kitson and Beattie will be out of Stoke this season at the first opportunity. They didn’t attend the pre-season trip to Austria, and their dummy spitting of last season has done nothing but p1ss Pulis off even more.
Tell you the truth Standish I don’t like Pullis’s brand of football but the way he conducts things and speaks to the media and handels the club he is a good manager
