17 May 2010 at 5:32 pm #33769How about we offer Caldwell in exchange?
Which one?
The one with the dodgy hips and his own pack of red cards?
Or the one we haven’t signed yet who is not quite as good as the one with the dodgy hips and his own pack of red cards?
Tell you what, let’s just go for Wheater and not queer the pitch by offering either of them.
17 May 2010 at 5:48 pm #33770AnonymousWe’re also supposedly linked with an Espanyol youngster, although the club hope to get around £8m for him and another promising team mate.
Nico Pareja is his name, yet another defender though: but it is somewhere we sorely need to improve on.

Can someone please explain to me how to get Link2 to work?

17 May 2010 at 6:29 pm #33778You would think that we’ll be playing seven at the back next season. I think we’ve got to the stage that every Spanish player capable of kicking a football is getting linked with us; except the good ones.
If we signed just two or three players but got rid of all the dross, I think I’d be content.
17 May 2010 at 6:56 pm #33780The one with the dodgy hips. I think his elder brother’s agent is putting out that story about us signing him. If he ain’t good enough for a relegated side like Burnley he certainly ain’t good enough for us.
17 May 2010 at 8:14 pm #33784Bernard Mendy has left Hull:
http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_6159785,00.htmlGood solid right back, and he would be a good replacement for Mario I reckon. Plus he’d be free.
Wadda we think?
17 May 2010 at 10:03 pm #33807Boyce will play RB all next season.
17 May 2010 at 10:15 pm #33811Hopefully.
Boyce – Gohouri – Bramble (c) – Figueroa is my ideal backline.
17 May 2010 at 11:12 pm #33818Latics , Birmingham and Newcastle are looking at Rangers Striker Kris Boyd

Could change Gohouri for that new fella depends on their respective World Cups. Although as of now I would tend to agree with you.
I wouldn’t be suprised if Figueroa has moved on come the start of the new season.

Would be a great signing. really liked what I have seen f him..looks good going forward too.
Don’t like the post after it though, think Boyd will be a flop if he comes to the Prem.

Tend to disagree on both counts. Boyce is a better right-back than Mendy and so i’d only want a right-back coming in who would actually do a better job than Boyce, failing that let Boyce play that position, which he does rather well.
And Kris Boyd is relatively young and has scored a shed-load of goals for Rangers (In an admittedly Championshipesque division). However he wouldn’t cost all that much (is he on a free?) and I cant imagine him being on high wages. We need someone who can score ten+ goals a season and be somewhat of a bargain. I reckon he’s good on both counts.
18 May 2010 at 4:51 am #33855I believe that Mendy is a far better right back than Boyce..Is all opinion though really.
He is on a free BUT I have only just read the article and found this out, so in that case i would take him to see what happens. Still think there is a BIG chance of him being a flop but why not take the gamble if he is free? Don’t know about the Scottish league being Championshipesque…Maybe Pub-league-esque ;)
18 May 2010 at 4:52 am #33856How about we offer Caldwell in exchange? How about we don’t as he is a good defender who has had one or 2 bad games?
