I don’t care how many we sell tbh as long as we win. As we’ve said time and time again to the likes of Newcastle fans who have a go at our crowds………..fans don’t make prizes.

1 word and as kept our ticket sales down and thats Millwall.

First of all the reputation of Millwall as put parents taking children down, and to add to this the fact that people are expecting to beat them they are taking the gamble on getting through to the final. If we had drawn City or Chelsea then this would have been our final to a lot of people and we would have shifted a lot more tickets.

But its Quality not Quantity (thats my excuse with the wife ;) ) that matters and i know that our following will be a lot more vocal and passionate than the 7000 true Millwall fans and 240000 plastic Millwall fans.
Just enjoy your day and fingers crossed lets go back for the BIG UN in May

In the rugby league challenge cup the two finalists only usually get about 13,000 tickets each. The rest go on sale months before the final to anyone that wants them. I’m not arsed about only taking 15-20 k, ill be there and the people i go to games with every week will be there. that’s all I’m bothered about.

Club must be a bit worried as I’ve just had an e-mail (so called) from Martinez calling for support, no doubt that has gone out to everbody on the database.

Rugby lot will say they always sell out but every club in the leagues buy tickets weeks before anyone knows who’ll be playing, not to mention their games and most others at wembley won’t be at 5.15pm, with no trains back v the most feared (sic) club in the country. With a very good chance of a return visit a few weeks later when prices will be even dearer.

Fck em, there’ll be more than double what we last took to Wembley v Millwall, when most of the ticket worriers on here probably weren’t there.

Im on the RFL database and regularly get emails pushing the Challenge Cup Final. Even had one this week telling me i could get a free upgrade on my seat, they must be running scared cause they know the little football club in the back yard of Rugby League have got the chance of 2 visits to Wemberleeee in a month. (could also be there in August a few weeks before their showpiece if we do actually go on and win it)

bolton in there semi final against stoke.same scenario, if they won would be another trip back.they sold 26,000.stoke sold out.so selling more than 20,000 can be done, even with another trip back.so far has cost me £202,tickets and travel.not started on ale, pop, food etc.flippin eck :S

As a family we are actually southern based season ticket holders, so tickets already purchased…is Bobby’s email only targeting those who haven’t yet purchased?
              I haven;t recieved one.!!
Who cares anyway, we will travel from Bedfordshire like we do for every home game (360 mile round trip for home games) cos we can.

We have a so called generic ‘cokeney’ accent, yet we are some 50 miles from that there London, but proudly follow the Wigan.

we e the final though, I hope the club is savvy about how they sell final tickets. We’d get 25k so make it first come first served for ST holders, max 2 per ticket, for first week of sale. Then any what’s left on general sale. That would also eradicate any need for mad queuing at daft hours, apart from when the few that’s left go on general sale.

Season ticket holders would be sorted and have a week to casually get a ticket.

Sorry for quoting my previous post, but if we do get in the final, every gobsh#%e in town will want a ticket and the club are going to have to be very careful about how they sell them. They can’t make it 3 per season ticket. I think they could make it 2 per ST, if you think we have between 10 and 12k ST holders. Give ST holders a week to go and claim their tickets, and the 3-4,000 left could then go on general sale.

No need for ST holders to have to go and queue, if they do this. Is there? If they mess up and it becomes a big free for all, 25k might not go far with all and sundry wanting one. Come to think of it, how many councillors, etc will be on the claim for a ‘complimentary’ ticket? That 25k could soon become 23 or 22k. Well, as long as the ST holders all get one.

Yes, we have to beat Millwall first!

Agree, too many non fans get to be on the gravy train…I know all affliated sides enter the FA Cup but still do not understand why that entitles each side a ticket(s). I’ve been to 3 finals over the last 20 years…as a secreatry of a non league club..Wembley 1988, Cardiff 2003 and 2004..not proud but couldn’t give them away especially the Cardiff ones!

This year hopefully I can finally watch my side at Wembley!!

I think we’ll go 1 per st holder and then sell to those with sf tickets.
