New Springfield for me, dodgy knees!
I’m hoping for Chelsea way, an early chance for revenge :D
A lot of this is probably down to exchange rate shifts following the uncertainty of the general election. Not sure about that. I would have thought the uncertainty reduced the value of sterling meaning that the debt in pounds would have reduced as the dollar would be worth more.
The Glazer family’s level of debt is irrelevant to Manchester United as long as the club continues to bring in income that can service that debt & (from the footballing point of view) provide money for salaries, transfers etc..Really? :o All that interest they’re paying comes from income that could be spent elsewhere.
I’d have thought the Scottish Premier League was nearer than Serie A.
That’s because you sir are an idiot.
Of course, , it should be the Welsh Premier League, sorry !..than the nearest league in Europe. There are 24 squads in the World Cup:
1. Premier League – 108 players
2. Serie A – 75 players
3. La Liga – 57 playersI’d have thought the Scottish Premier League was nearer than Serie A.
My tip would be to break up the text with pictures / premiership tables, maybe quotes etc as although other footy books are good reads, they may be dry.And for god’s sake, don’t use joined-up writing!
…….I have google :DRub some ointment on it!
”I knew from my first day at Wigan that I’d do a job for the club.”What job would that be exactly?
So that’s why we are letting Brenda go!
Joke thread pleeeeaase!Are you sure?
Thanks mate, i may continue with it.You can use more than one
”Personally I think it’s a breath of fresh air to see a manager trying to play the game the right way”This “trying to play the game the right way” is really starting to get on my wazz
……… slow, plodding, gutless, sideways football that created little in the way of goal scoring opportunities & when it did there was no-one there to get on the end of it coz he didn’t have the personnel to make his 4-5-1 formation work…….”
I can’t get the columns aligned nicely so apologies to the style police but I thought the facts might get be useful.
Goals Scored
Season Home Away Total
2009/10 19 18 37
2008/09 17 17 34
2007/08 21 13 34
2006/07 18 19 37
2005/06 24 21 45…..I agree, though, that if we limit the board to those what can speak proper English we’d alientate 90% of the English and Polish population of Wigan. But you can’t do that, you need to alienate 100% of the population otherwise the board may be deemed to be racist and closed down.
sorry about that david i must be a bit touchy today ive all ready had a row with 2 suppliers this morning and a phone spat with my missus over the serious subject of what to do for tea tonight(pathetic i know)

Mrs Griff has already told me that there will be steak and chips on the table when I get home in good time for me to settle down to watch the match and without fear of having to bath the little one which would otherwise interfere with the digestion process. She will also go swimming just before 8 and leave me in total peace until the match is finished. 8-)
I do hope she isn’t getting a few complimentary ‘lengths’ at the pool. :?
Sounds fishy! ;)LMB I’m surprised (because you normally see the irony in my posts) at you, the little green man in my post was supposed to signify envy, i.e. I’d much rather have been in the pub that day.

in truth i would love to have been at chelsea to watch the game but i have learned to prioritise over the years
Ok, i’ll try and make it an irony free zone during office hours :)
