Strange how the article never mentions that last Sunday saw the lowest league attendance at the DW for over 7 years, despite it not being on TV, and being one of the warmest September afternoons for ages.
Comparing Premier League attendances with Championship attendances – Bottom of barrel well and truly scraped! Desperate times eh Mutty!
he holds the purse strings – what happened to coyle being allowed to spend the money received from transfers out ?
Coyle has spent virtually all bar £500k of the money that Latics got in for Kone & Boselli
He’d be hard pressed to spend the McCarthy money until January
Nonsense, he had at least 3 minutes! ;)
I thought Plan B was let’s pass it to one of our players as opposed to Plan A which seemed to be lets pass it to one of their players.
….If you consider the King James Bible for what it is including the popular establishment of the Church of England and its authenticity vs the teachings of Islam then you have to take into account that it is quite possibly the most authentic and historically accurate of all the religions.I don’t see how you can describe any religion as authentic and historically accurate. They are all based on myths and hearsay.
Certainly do.….. in the hope I will be accepted into Griff’s famously exclusive clique one day.
Ask yourself, would you really want to belong to a clique that would allow you in?
I though not!
Can’t complain about that. Bossed the game completely, the middle 3 ran the show.Barnett was a rock, very impressed with him considering he only signed 2 days before the game. Perfect way to start the season.
agree with that, Barnett & Perch looked very solid and, as you said middle 3 bossed the game. That pleased me as last season our weakness was keeping clean sheets.
A pile
You sure he scored 15?
TOPIC: On behalf of all GobshitesWhen were you elected head Gobshite?
I think he scored 8 last season. He did commit the most fouls. If he’s cheap it’s worth a punt but don’t expect too much from him. His mobility is somewhat limited these days
Sorry to have bothered you, I hadn’t seen it. Don’t be afraid, it’s not really Hitler
Martinez’ tactical changes have been subtle and fascinating, both from game to game and during the progress of individual games. Most fans have recognised his formations with three or four at the back. But I think many changes have gone over their heads. I wish we had had a commentary from him explaining just what he was doing and why. I’d love to attend one of his coaching sessions.
So far, I don’t think Coyle has shown anything like the same innovation and imagination. And I have been to quite a number of games at Burnley and Bolton.
Wigan and Bolton used to be paired so that when one was at home, the other was away. Next season there are days when Blackpool, Blackburn, Bolton and Wigan are all at home.
” many changes have gone over their heads “
Quote of the season for me!
No I.m glad the clowns gone and we can get back to playing football the lancashire way !
Piss poor wind up.
And if it’s not a wind up, it’s just piss poor.
Nah, it’s just piss
so put the above two posts together and what do you get:
Whelan’s pissed off that Bob’s going to Everton after saying that Everton’s not big enough.
So, he compares Everton’s fan base to ours, it’s not exactly a flattering comparison is it?
Whelan’s a crafty bugger!
