When I saw the thread title I thought it was alluding to hindley blue, wiganmon, bickymon, loudmouthblue, filmoss, TyldesleyLatic et al.

….He should remind the players the season does not start in February.But the transfer window closes end of January and so February is when the players know they are here till the end of the season. Prior to that I’m sure our “stars” are distracted by talks (and dreams) of moving to a “bigger” club.
I can’t remember him being like that when he played for Villa, seems to me it’s something he’s picked up since his move
Football Town?
My one and only response to this debate – If you want to see whether Wigan’s a football town or rugby town then take a walk around the playing fields on a Sunday morning and see what game is mainly being played.
